Is Danish mead like American mead?
Thought I would like it but I've tried a few & haven't liked them.
The label on the bottle says it's Nordic honey wine with hibiscus and hops added, based on a recipe from about the year 1700.

I've had a few American meads, I liked most of them but a couple weren't very good.

Good evening boys and girls. Had a very busy day - visit with Mom, and it went well. She likes to see photos on my phone - doesn't matter if I show them to her every week. ;)

Cleaned the bathroom (I'm not as nimble as I used to be, so I got inside the tub to do the scrubbing. Then cleaned the toilet and all around it. Did 4 loads of laundry, dishes, made an simply breakfast, and assisted with Cameron to make dinner.

Yesterday we were close to 90. Today was 60's-70's with rain a tiny bit of hail. Rain is good. :D

He said he'd be gone for a few days to mourn Tink's loss. :(

Sesame oil, lemon, and soy sauce salmon, roasted rainbow carrots and lemon rice. And I made the banana pudding with chocolate shavings and homemade whip cream.

I got the Danish mead at World of Beer the last time I was there, they sell beer to go. Some of the American meads were at the Beer Den at my local supermarket and the others were at a mead tasting at a store that sells honey and honey-based products.

I was hoping someone who knows him "in the real world" may have had contact to see how he is coping is all.

Ahh gotcha. There's not a World of Beer close to me but I'll have to check Total Wine next time I go. Thanks!

I've been going pretty much non-stop since 6:30 when the patient got out of bed. He's now back in bed so I have a few minutes to visit.

But, I think I shall sneak a cold (alcoholic) beverage while he naps. I will be very, very quiet heading down the steps to the keg
You have nice/quiet carpeted steps...
or so I've heard

How is the patient doing?
I was successful in my beer run.

Good and bad. It’s hard to know which is going to happen when. He’s very disappointed about the swelling which is worse than last week. But he’s doing everything he is supposed to. His follow up is Thursday morning.
