Barrel Roll Into The Sun SUNDAY @ the MSC
Good morning BN. I like this line from Barometer Soup. I was fascinated with early planes and had a Battleship type board game called Dogfight. My dad rode in a biplane and told of doing a barrel roll when he was six.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Morning BNers
It is NOT raining!! Wow. They just said on local news that it rained somewhere in this area for 19 consecutive days. Most days it seems like right over our house.

Hope everyone enjoys barrel rolling today. Nice semi cloudy morning here in Manatee. Going to visit that Salt Water Gospel I think before it gets too crazy.

Finishing up the laundry, running the vacuum and giving the big dogs a bath. Then, sitting around and sipping on a margarita. Happy Sunday Pholks.

Good morning everyone.
Got to church for the first time in more than 8 months. It was SO great to see everyone’s mask free faces. Like a concert it’s just not the same watching a livestream.
Later today we will head into town for a 6-hr live local and not so local musician “jam session” in memory of our local professional musician friend (Dave Huxta) who lost his 4 yr cancer battle a few weeks ago. His nick name was “old hippie man”. He was in several bands and was a very accomplished bass player and singer.

Good afternoon. I just registered and paid for my rescheduled 50th high school reunion. I have to decide if I want to drive or fly but it isn't until October so I have time. I'll have to remember to take pictures of my law school diploma and certificate of admission to the bar, I don't think anyone I went to high school with will believe I was a lawyer.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Spent some quality beach time today at Anna Maria Island. Great way to clear my thoughts. Hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday.

Gorgeous day in Vacationland, but no barrel rolling. Our company left so we just had a lazy day around here. Beautiful breeze off the harbor and we could hear the band playing on the deck bar of a place down the street.
It's wine thirty for me while Mr. Lime rustles up some dinner.

We'll all vouch for you!
Weird dreams this morning, didn't sleep in. Made breakfast, finished all the laundry, we ran to the store, unloaded dishwasher, and starting on dinner. That's about it.

We used to have that game. My brothers and I played it a lot. I thought it was cool how the the German fighterbodypainter wrote: ↑June 6, 2021 8:11 am Good morning BN. squadrons were called "Jagdstaffel". Haven't played it for about 50 years.
Also had a game called "Broadside" that was based on the war of 1812.

OMGEEEE. It was stinkin hot at the jam session. It’s a feels like 97 here and even with the high mounted fans at the outside covered bar it has HOTx3. But, it was amazing to hear all the bands our deceased friends played in over the past 35 years
Now at a local park to meet up with our church community group for the first some since March 2020. All those zoom meetings just didn’t cut it but it was all we had.

Was your strategy to select the larger, more powerful British fleet, or the smaller American ships and their shore batteriesbodypainter wrote: ↑June 6, 2021 5:41 pmI LOVED BROADSIDE!big john wrote: ↑June 6, 2021 5:16 pmWe used to have that game. I always wanted the American fleet, but I didn't get to play it much. The neighbor kids preferred Risk over my maniacal focus on naval history.big john wrote: ↑June 6, 2021 6:22 pmWas your strategy to select the larger, more powerful British fleet, or the smaller American ships and their shore batteriesbodypainter wrote: ↑June 6, 2021 5:41 pmI LOVED BROADSIDE!big john wrote: ↑June 6, 2021 5:16 pmWe used to have that game.
