Sing a Buffett Song SUNDAY@ the MSC

Post by bodypainter »

Good morning BN. I've been singing a line from Mailboat Money

Life is slow, fishin's good, That's how I spend my days.

Do you get Jimmy's music stuck in your head?
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Morning, BN. It's a sunny one today. Getting ready to head on out.

....sing us a song, yuu're the piano man.....

That popped in my head when I saw today's MSC.

Have a good one.

Good morning.

Game time is 2:05 and not only is the ballpark walking distance from the hotel, it's right across the street. Normally I would go out exploring for a couple of hours, but not today. I'm parked in a 4 story parking garage on the other side of the hotel and it's also used for game day parking for the ballpark. I don't want to leave, then get stuck in ballpark traffic coming back. There's a bbq joint and a Mexican restaurant just outside the ballpark, maybe I'll go to one of those for my pregame meal.

Morning BNers

It is another race day. This week, NHRA is in NH.

My sleep schedule is so screwed up. I was watching the Astros play last night and woke up about 8:30 am. 😜

Good afternoon from Oklahoma!

We survived the wedding, but OMG it was soooo hot!! The heat index was 106 IN THE SHADE!!! :-? :-?

Hanging out with my MIL while E went to Bass Pro Shop with his Dad. Then off to the airport in a couple of hours.

Hello all! Sitting in the backseat of the 1st vehicle heading home from the beach. The 2nd group is leaving tomorrow at noon.

Yesterday was a beautiful day on the beach as was today. But I miss my hubby who has been having sinus issues while I’m away so I decided to go home early. I still have a vacation day tomorrow so that gives me time to head to a friends pool if the weather is good.

Gorgeous day in Limeville. We walked into town and had drinks and tapas for late brunch.

Now I need a nap but it's too late so just chilling hard and surfing.

I went to the bbq joint for lunch before the game. The bartender had a unique accent, she's from South Africa. One of the waitresses was absolutely gorgeous and she looked really good in her denim shorts and Southbound Smokehouse Keep On Smokin' t-shirt. The food wasn't bad either.

I made a poor choice of seats for the ballgame. I was on the 3rd base side, which gets the afternoon sun. I left my seat in the 2nd inning and stood in the shade under the overhang from the second deck. The Pelicans lost in another pathetic display of baseball, 3 hits and 14 strikeouts. At least the one beer I had was cold.

Astros won 14-3. I still think they shouldn't waste extra runs and save them when they need them. ;)

Hi there! I hauled a ton of broken concrete on a hot day and thought of the Bobby Fuller 4 group singing

"Breakin' rocks in the hot sun

I fought the law and the law won."
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
