Hooray for Friday @ the MSC
Good Morning BN'ers!
TGIF indeed. Looking forward to the 5:00 whistle.
Weekend highlight will be trip to Michigan Stadium tomorrow for game between Washington & the Wolverines. 8:00 kickoff. Won't be Buffettesque tailgating but should be some good tailgating nonetheless. 9/11 20 year remembrances will abound for sure.
Beautiful day in store, plenty of sunshine & low 80's high while not dipping too low in the evening.
Hope everyone enjoys their day

Hoping for good news!
Morning, BN. I usually don't mind working on Saturdays but I'm glad I have tomorrow off.
Have a good one.

Good morning Ken, Mooooogy (hoping for positive news), Steve, and Sang!
Yep, VERY glad it's Friday. Love holiday weekends, but the week after sure doesn't seem shortened.

Good morning. Hoping for good news moog.
I didn't go to Las Vegas last year so I didn't go to my 4th annual Golden Knights game. The hockey season starts Oct. 12 and they play the NY Islanders Oct. 24 but that's only a couple of weeks after I get back from my high school reunion on Long Island and I want to give my credit cards a little time to recover. The Golden Knights have 6 consecutive home games starting Nov. 9, I should see if I can get a good deal on a hotel and go to one (or 2) of those games. My "local" team, the Carolina Hurricanes, plays there Nov. 16.

Speaking of hockey, the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame recently announced the inductees for 2021. One of them is Stan Fischler, the Hockey Maven. I don't know how well known he is in other parts of the country, but in NY he's a legend, both as a broadcaster and a writer. He's a living, breathing encyclopedia of hockey knowledge. I'm glad he's finally getting into the Hall while he's still around to enjoy the honor, he's 89 years old.

When I was a kid for a stretch I was purchasing Hockey Digest. As I recall he was a regular contributor if not a staple during the time I was reading it.LIPH wrote: ↑September 10, 2021 12:12 pm Speaking of hockey, the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame recently announced the inductees for 2021. Chemo will start after radiation therapy. Have Bone Myeloma 8 percent. Will also be getting stem cell transplant from my own body after chemo. I'll be in hospital 2 weeks in the fall.

Sigh. What does the 8 percent represent? Is the 2 week stay for the transplant?

Hopefully it doesn't effect your remaining child bearing years.
