Third THURSDAY @ the MSC
Good morning everyone.
I’m “officially” on day 1 of the longest vacation time from work in about 15 yrs.
Our daughter and SIL settle on there dream home at 9 a.m. They sell the home they bought as newlyweds 5 yrs ago at 2 pm. Tuesday night the 10 yrs old ac system crapped out during a 3 day 90 degree heat wave. They are looking at close to $2,O00 in repairs with the hope it’s done by that 2:00 sell date. If not, they will need to escrow funds at closing. hopefully the new buyer (single guy from Reno NV, employed by Tesla, can stay with his parents tonight). The kids, grandson and little dog scooter slept here last night since their indoor temp is about 90 and Tuesday night darn near killed them all.
I’ll be at the new place this morning to help unload some boxes until the movers arrive mid afternoon.
Tonight will be packing up for Sarasota. We will be getting up at 4:30 a.m.
Did I say this was a vacation day.

Good morning Linda. What an adventure you will have! Here is my new saying, based on a good day of fishing when Anne called to see how I was doing. I told her. "Excited for the future and happy in the moment."
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Enjoy your vacation Linda.

Words to live by for sure Bill.
JB & The CRB @ PK is one week from today. Based upon browsing the Ticketmaster website Ticket sales for the show are lagging badly. Wouldn't be surprised if they end up allowing many lawn people down into the pavilion. They've already reduced the price of upper pavilion to $46+ fees, the price of lawn seats. We'll see, maybe if the weather is good the walk up will be a big one.
Have a fruitful day phriends!

Happy Thursday Phriends!!
Hope you are holding up well, Moog.
Anyone hear anything from Molly?
Enjoy Sarasota, Salt. It's okay, but Manatee is way better. Of course, I am a bit biased!!
Have a great day.

Re: Third THURSDAY @ the MSC
I stopped at the Beer Den when I was grocery shopping, a couple of the regulars were there. I hadn't seen the guy who worked there for a few months so I asked if they had seen him. He got fired.
On the way home there was a car in front of me with a decal for the band Slightly Stoopid in the rear window. I thought of BNer Kasey With A K, she was a fan. She's a very attractive young lady too.

Re: Third THURSDAY @ the MSC
I AM EXHAUSTED .
I couldn't sleep, again, last night -- was up at 3 and laying on the sofa until the rest of the gang got up and moving around 6:30......
The movers changed their arrival from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. and just as I was entering the gym I got a call from Bridget asking if I could meet the movers at the house since the kids were already at settlement to buy their new home. Yep -- off I went. I loaded a few boxes in my car and waited around while the crew of 4 young guys and their supervisor did an EXCELLENT job of loading and then unloading the moving truck.
I just got home at 3:30 and most of my time was helping to unload boxes from the various cars/vans and then wipe down all the kitchen cabinets, inside & out, clean out the monstrosity of a fridge and then start to unload boxes until the kids arrived back at 3:00 from selling their place. No worries about the AC. All parties are in agreement that the bill will be paid by the kids as soon as the HVAC repair guys get finished (we don't know when that will be) but everyone was civil about the issue. What a rarity !!!
Now time to pack for vacation. There's nothing in either suitcase
