Rainy days and Mondays.. @ the MSC
Morning BNers
It is about 3 AM and it is pouring.
We can always use rain.
Well...that didn't last long...looks like the shower ( downpour) is over. Wonder if we get more during the day.
Oh yes, the Astros lost the first game in Chicago. 12-6 It was great until it wasn't. Next game is in a few hours. Hoping they play better....
Anyway, ya'll have a great Monday.
❤❤❤

Re: Rainy days and Mondays.... @MSC
Wowza you are up early with the rain. Hoping you are able to fall back asleep if that is the plan.
I am up for work and would much rather be asleep.........we have had enough rain in Michigan that it is almost too wet to cut grass. I cut yesterday because I had to either mow or get goats.....left lots of tire tracks in a few places as well. Oh well, it will grow back I hope
Happy Monday, all! I really need to think about buying lottery tickets. This getting up every day for work business is getting old.

Hello Everyone.
Kevin & I have a work holiday today. It is overcast here but I just saw one of our local headlines that said record-breaking warm temps are on the schedule for this week.
We don't have any special plans for our day off. Kevin has his annual physical and then will stop at his mom's to meet a contractor to discuss issues remaining from the 8" of water she got in her finished basement 2 months ago when we had record-breaking rain.....

Just got back from the laundromat. My washing machine is giving me problems and when I called for service they said the earliest they could send a repairman was Friday. At least my dryer is still working so I didn't have to stay too long.

This one was pretty nice. It's very clean, the machines look relatively new and they take credit cards so I didn't need a pocket full of quarters. The place even has a full-time attendant in case you have any problems. Prices have gone up though. When I lived on Long Island there was a laundry room in the apartment building where I lived and it was $2.00 for a load of laundry. This place was $5.50.

Afternoon BNers
It seems like the rain was on an hourly alarm. It rained about 3 AM for about 12 min. Then at 4 AM, it started all over r again. But this time, the storm was shaking the walls. I finally dozed off after 4:30ish so I don't know if we got a 5 AM alarm.
Btw...big rain heading to Chicago so no game today. Maybe an extra day is what the Astros need.

Evening, peeps.
Quiet work day, lots of folks must have been off. Foliage is really popping around here and it's perfect crisp, sunny fall weather.

This is not my picture, but this is what we see in Colorado. A lot of gold and reds. It's the Aspen trees that turn that color. The mountains behind is known as "Maroon Bells".
