I was like that too until about 30 days ago when there was a huge shift in my work environment and therefore, my attitude.MICHIPHIN wrote: ↑October 19, 2021 4:01 pmI am actually one of those few people on globe that can actually say, "I love what I do".......and when age eligible to do such, I will probably keep going forward...Dr.Corona wrote: ↑October 19, 2021 10:45 am Good Morning Gang!
Certainly a powerful day topic in today's MSC.
I've been doing a bit of the self evaluation lately as well, but truthfully not acting on my findings as much as I should. Shame on me.
My girlfriend has done a spectacular job of shedding over 35 pounds since mid summer & has been committed to a lifestyle change. I keep being stuck in neutral while I should be doing the same. Knowing what I need to do, yet not doing it.
Anyways, hopefully I'll be able to play my retirement card by the end of 2023 at latest. That has a nice ring to it!
Enjoy your day all

Wish I had stopped by the MSC this morning. Today would have been a good day for evaluation!

Re: Evaluate your life TUESDAY @ the MSC
Good evening, BN. My evaluation of my life, is that I still have a lot to give the business world. And I'm not so sure that's in the medical field.
LONG day at work. Some days I wonder how some people manage to get through the day. They have a LOT of care/compassion/nursing sense, but lack in common day-to-day sense.
On Friday I took the "Assessment" for the job I applied for. If they didn't think I did well on the "Zoom" interview, that wouldn't have happened. The recruiter (on Friday) said she'd be in touch early this week. I got this email from her this afternoon:
Sending lots of hugs (((((((Moooooogy)))))))
Did some laundry this afternoon, after work, since Larry wasn't going to do mine.
Time to relax on the couch with E. He's getting over a cold, and now Cameron has one (probably caught it at the hospital), so it's time to get some rest. Fireplace is going in the livingroom, and I have the patio door slightly open in the bedroom. (It's 43 degrees outside).
Goodnight, and sleep well all.

Again, it wasn't an no.I just wanted to let you know that Nick and Jeremy are OOO this week, so I haven't been able to get feedback, but will follow up as soon as I hear back from them! Should be this Friday or Monday of next week. Thank you for your patience and I look forward to speaking with you soon! Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

Good one... and it fits our retired situation for sure!
But truthfully today's title made me think of different lyrics:
"Lookin' back at my background
Tryin' to figure out how I ever got here..."
But that may be just me!
In Boston with...
"this caribbean soul I can barely control and Long Island's always here in my heart"
