Shrink wrapping a boat is always the way to go. Winter would be hard on exposed hulls before that process.lime rickie wrote: βOctober 20, 2021 7:20 pmHi Bill. We brought it around to the winter marina last week. They take it out of the water, clean it all up and wrap it tight. We pay a small monthly charge to leave it there over the winter. Then in the spring they get it all ready and put it back in the water for us.bodypainter wrote: βOctober 20, 2021 6:55 pmHiya Nancy! Is the boat in storage yet or is there still a chance for a ride?
It would take the two of us days and days, more probably. What they charge for all that is truly a bargain.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Already getting into the low 30s overnight next week. Supposed to be extra cold this winter, and early snow, too!

Jury trial over. Verdict was at 3:00 this afternoon.
The defendant admitted negligence and liability. Jury only had to determine the total of past, present, and future non-economic amount.
The jury found for the plaintiff.
They awarded her $1.00. Yes, not a typo. 100 pennies.

Altho I have none of the facts, unless this resulted in years of medical bills and such? I think the $1.00 was appropriate.Saltx3 wrote: βOctober 20, 2021 9:29 pm Jury trial over. Verdict was at 3:00 this afternoon.

There were no long -terms health or medical bill issues. They were $200,000 apart on Friday night before the trial on Monday morning. One of them (the Plaintiff) should have split the difference and walked away. That $1.00 was pretty much the jury saying "this was a waste of time and you are being a "money grabber".

Good evening/goodnight, BN.
With work, Cameron, home stuff and such, it's been busy and tiring - so sorry for not checking in as much.
Cameron is still healing, but tonight he wanted some bacon, so bacon it was!! The throat is still healing, but it's doing well so far. LOTS more soft foods than he wants, but that's what's needed.
E's had a bit of cold for the last week, and hasn't felt well. Getting better now, tho. Cameron has picked up the cold, but that was either from E, or the hospital. Their coughs sounds awful. Today, I have come down with some symptoms, but nothing to make me miserable. I've doubled up on the Echinacea, which always does well for me.
My job interview? The SVP (who I liked, and I guess makes the decision) has been out of office until tomorrow, so I'm told from the recruiter that she'll contact me on Friday. Again - so far it's not a no.
Time for couch time with E.. bedtime soonly.
Sleep well.
