Rainy Monday @ The MSC
Good morning peoples. It's been raining most of the morning, this might be a good day to stay inside and get some stuff done.

Hi there! Talk about wet, 1.4" overnight and more coming. On the plus side, we have a shallow well, so we can flush with abandon.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Re: Rainy Monday @ The MSC
Good afternoon. We've had a soaker all night & all morning scheduled through early evening as well. High going to 48 today & 46 tomorrow but the sun will peak out then. Just laid some grass seed down yesterday so hopefully this weather will be effective for it.
Was supposed to be leaving for NY tomorrow for a concert Wednesday night but Uncle Covid circumstances keeping the English artist we were going to see home in the UK. This opened the door for a trip to Key West come Saturday (not Monday). Don't tell the girlfriend, but I am not & will not be crying in my beer.
Enjoy this final week of October gang!

Re: Rainy Monday @ The MSC
We are having rain bands here in Manatee County today. Much like during a hurricane, it's sunny, then jet black with down pours, then sunny again.
Crazy weather.
Hope eberyone is having a great Monday!

Got ya beat, MsMod... even though we've been home for a week now, my body is still on Italy time (9 hrs ahead of PDT) and I've been wide awake at 3 AM. My body says "I don't care what the clock says, it's noon in Lucca!"SMLCHNG wrote:Not me. Woke at 5:00, was at work at 6:15. Dragging, but I'm here.
It's rainy and windy and cold and gray here and our furnace ain't working! Called the people that do our annual maintenance and they say they can have someone out Tuesday of next week.
I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but sometimes they have really good ideas…..

Afternoon BNers
Just spent close to an hour on hold on with United. I had a reservation to go to Las Vegas. I can't go so I wanted to transfer ticket to Larry. After listening to the United theme song over and over and.... She told me it wasn't transferable. Hopefully she did issue a refund.
Guess time will tell....

Hello all,
Nice weather in store today. Sunny, high 80's.
Oh well it's almost 7 am so I guess I'd better coffee myself and then think about packing boxes...
(Not at work today - I am having a mental health day plus with the next move on the horizon I need to get some packing sorted)

We are gray and dreary here in MA...
But it is better than the "Snow-less Nor'easter" that was forecast...
Of course, the week is still young, so the bathtub is filled and I even turned the heat on just in case!

Have to admit, I had RM on this afternoon and listened to the replay of the Tampa show from the Don't Stop the Carnival tour. Man, did that sound like a fun to place to be that night...

Re: Rainy Monday @ The MSC
Well that's taken the wind out of my sails.
As many would know I have been a roadie for many, many years. One of the guys that I worked with for many of those years and, in fact, got me a start in the game, passed away last night.
He had been ill for a while.
Vale Paul.

Re: Rainy Monday @ The MSC
Neurologist diagnosis is indeed Guillain-Barre syndrome. Treating with the Immunoglobulin therapy, using antibodies from blood donors (thanks for your contributions Larry) to help fight off his own immune system attacking his nerves. Hopeful this makes an impact & can help minimize the weakness, tingling, fatigue, etc. of his extremities. Seems that he came in before things got to out of hand & too debilitating. Still, a scary proposition that we know this exists & can make an possible impact down the road. Not sure how much of this he'll have to do.
Appreciate you asking "R"
