Good thing I'm at work, and can't play the video's. I'd have earworms all day long.

Unit Secretary/Receptionist called off AGAIN. She has a daughter who had a kid that's almost two. Daughter doesn't wish to play mommy, so my co-worker has decided she'll take care of the baby... and had no sitter today. So I'm stuck at the front desk for the day. I can't get my work done sitting here (with a old/small monitor), and Monday is "Payroll Day".. so it'll be a very early start on Monday.

On a lighter note - I heard this morning that this is the most viewed youtube video of all time - 10 BILLION!!

When that Baby Shark nonsense first started, they used to play it at every Pelicans game. One time each game they would have some of the game day employees (high school and college kids) and a few little kids from the crowd get on top of the dugout and sing along to the song. By time the season ended I wanted to shove knitting needles through my eardrums.

Evening, peeps. TGIF. Getting ready for a little snow this weekend, followed by more big snow Monday.

I can see why all you retirees are so happy. I've been off work for surgery and still have one more week before I have to go back. This is pretty sweet life. I started looking at how/when it makes sense to retire and the soonest I can is May 2023. Which is not that far off and looking more attractive by the week/day/minute.

There's a new co-anchor on the 5:00 news, when she introduced herself she said she came here from Indianapolis. That seems like a poor career move, reporters and anchor people should be going from a small market to a big market. Indy is a much bigger market.

We have had 2-3 people hopping back and forth between NBC stations in Los Angeles and Houston. Not sure why but everyone seems to be glad to get back to Houston.
