Down Hill Side of January SUNDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. This is a long month for me, with the weather and darkness, but it's half over. There's so much to see waiting in front of me.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good Morning Bill
Off to church we go then we have nothing scheduled for the rest of today or for tomorrow (which is a work holiday for us).
Stay warm & dry everyone.

Morning, peeps.
Cold again but at least it's sunny. No plans at all, chores are done, just going to hang around, maybe go grab lunch out somewhere.
Have a wonderful day. Safe travels, Tammy!

Good morning. I think the weather guessers guessed right about us getting 2-3 inches of rain. It's been raining since I woke up this morning and not just a rain shower, it's really coming down. I think today may be one of those days that I don't even bother unlocking my door. Coffee and the couch, maybe watch one or 2 of the movies I have saved on my DVR. 🛋

Good afternoon. It's gotten up to 17 degrees. It started out a lot colder. At least it's not windy.
Waiting for the snow. Pork loin and sauerkraut are in the crockpot.

Down hill side is fitting....
I just learned today about the death earlier this week of another "original" BNer... Surf'nT. He had just been declared free of cancer following treatments and surgery back in the fall. He was doing well! But apparently, on January 12th he died suddenly - ironically, on his way to a doctor's appointment.

I do not remember him but sad to hear. Yep cancer sucks. But I'm confident my transplant will help me. Just have to keep up on tests for rest of my life.Caribbean Soul wrote: ↑January 16, 2022 1:38 pm Down hill side is fitting....

Afternoon BNers
Pretty, sunny day but still windy.
Ryan is making another type ice cream and needs an egg white. He doesn't know how to separate egg.
Be right back.

I've found separating them using my hand is easier but measure than using the shell.

The recipe called for whipped to soft peaks. He thought a whisk would be easier. 40 min later, he decided it was good enough.
He made sorbet with apple juice. More of trial and error

Same here... first we lost Garry, then Susan, and now Ted. But I confess to using stronger words than $h!tLIPH wrote: ↑January 16, 2022 4:16 pmI knew Ted almost as long as I knew Garry, which was more than 20 years. $h!tCaribbean Soul wrote: ↑January 16, 2022 1:38 pm Down hill side is fitting....
