Freezing Up In Buffalo FRIDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. It's cold here, so I'm sure Buffalo is cold.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning. Yesterday's high temperature was 68 degrees, it's 34 now and it's supposed to drop into the 20s later. The freezing rain and ice haven't started yet but it rained overnight so everything is wet and waiting to freeze. I just called the Red Cross to reschedule my platelet appointment, The roads are probably OK to drive now but by 1:00 or 1:30 this afternoon when I'd be coming home the ice storm should be here. I'll wait until next week.

Good Morning! Read about his passing as well. Was just thinking YESTERDAY I would have liked to have seen him live...
Enjoy your Friday gang!

I've seen Meatloaf when Joe Cocker opened for him.
Got my first white blood cell enhancer this morning.

Good morning BN.
E is supposed to be back home tonight!!! Hopefully your flight will get you home today too, Michi!!
We're in the 30's here, and some flurries. It'll feel downright warm to E after the below zero temps he's had in ND.
Saddened about Meatloaf. Wasn't a huge fan, but liked the 'popular' songs he had.
Back to working - Had to cover the front desk AGAIN this morning, but at least she finally made it in.

Re: Freezing Up In Buffalo FRIDAY@ the MSC
I never saw Meatloaf in concert and I never saw The Rocky Horror Picture Show so I missed what was probably his most famous acting role. When one of his songs was on the radio I would listen to it but I don't own any of his albums. I had a take it or leave attitude about Meatloaf, and lower case "m" meatloaf as well.
On the other hand, I liked Louie Anderson. He was a funny guy.

I read Meatloaf had been openly anti vax. Not a good choice for an obese 74 year old.

Re: Freezing Up In Buffalo FRIDAY@ the MSC
good afternoon everyone.
decided last night to take today as a Mental Health Day. I have a 2nd attempt on Monday at a medical "procedure" that was scheduled back in October. I got all the way into the surgery center and then based on answers to some questions the surgeon decided to postpone. So, tomorrow at noon I start a 2-day prep for Monday.
Since the ceiling and walls from the shower drain pipe leak are now patched, drywalled, spackled and SANDED pretty much the entire house is covered in a white layer of dust. Figured I would tackle that today since I'll be incapacitated the rest of the weekend .
Will soon be heading out to do the grocery shopping for next week which will include lots of orange jello for my weekend.

Just took a nice 2 hour nap. Being only 20 degrees kept me under nice warm covers. Plus the warm radiating heat of Rasppy

Re: Freezing Up In Buffalo FRIDAY@ the MSC
I could have gone to my platelet appointment after all. The temperature dropped from 34 to 32 but we haven't had any rain, freezing rain, ice, sleet or snow since I woke up this morning. They're still predicting an ice storm but it isn't here yet.
