Welcome to WEDNESDAY @ the MSC
Good morning everyone! The sun is shining brightly here at Ringville.
Off to get blood work, then to the gym and a few other stops before heading back to daughter/sil to hopefully fix the paint job for yesterday.

Good morning Linda and Nancy!
Back to work today, but not 100%. Pretty sure it was food poisoning. Since Monday morning to this morning, I lost 7 pounds, and it still hasn't stopped.
Not too much to catch up on at work while I was out yesterday, so that's a good thing.

Glad you are somewhat feeling better Penny.
It is a gorgeous 63 degree morning on my deck. Slightly breezy. Watching the birds and squirrels.

Good morning. It's supposed to be 86 degrees today but so far it's only 85.
One of the Pelicans outfielders retired. He's 24 years old, a graduate of Duke University and the Cubs just drafted him last year. The baseball draft is in June so he has less than a year of professional experience. He was the 4th outfielder but it's not like he never played. I looked at the team's statistics and he played 20 of 34 games. Seems like an odd time to retire.

Good morning from sunny north Texas.
Hank Hill : Just in case I'm incapacitated for some reason, do you know how to start a man's heart with a downed power line?
Bobby: No.
Hank : Well, there's really no wrong way to do it.

Re: Welcome to WEDNESDAY @ the MSC
Hi there! My buddy followed me to a boat ramp. He had hit a deer earlier. He told me my trailer lights didn't work. Bad start to the day for both of us. We caught some fish, but quit when it started raining. I took a back road home to avoid police.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

We've had a little change in the weather up here.... instead of the cold and rainy that we've had seemingly all spring, it's now cold and rainy and very windy. They've issued a Winter Storm Warning for the mountains! Last month the winter snowpack was 80% of normal and now it's over 150%. Enough is enough!
I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but sometimes they have really good ideas…..

Just got home from another platelet donation at the Red Cross. I think I'm going to relax in air conditioned comfort, I feel a little light headed and my left calf muscle is cramping up. With all the bikers in town for Bike Week, traffic sux and all the bars and restaurants are a lot more crowded than usual so it's a good time to stay home anyway.

Re: Welcome to WEDNESDAY @ the MSC
So no painting today. Kids decided to just get another gallon to use for the walls that are messed up. I’m ok with that and will return on Saturday to finish the job.
I got my raised bed (4’ high) planted with herbs, spinach, green onion and lots of lettuce seeds. Also planted a few sunflowers that I started from seed. All the planters are done but I still have a few annuals to plant in the flower bed between our sidewalk and the street.
We’re having an adult beverage on the deck and then a salad for dinner. Kevin is not thrilled.

Re: Welcome to WEDNESDAY @ the MSC
Good early evening gang.
Been a drizzly cooler day here in the Mitten. My head kind of fits the weather. Representing Cloudy & Scattered nonsense.
Tomorrow will be oldest grandson’s last day of high school. Just doesn’t seem possible. Bittersweet as it represents a big milestone for him, yet one that my deceased wife Carol is missing out on. Makes me sad for his and her sake.
Will tune into some hockey tonight, although my interest is more peaked towards the late game…the battle of Alberta Canada between Oilers & Flames. Couldn’t make it all the way through last nights late game in Colorado (missed an OT’er) & not much hope for it to happen tonight. Maybe I’ll get a Kick It In Second Wind
