Nat’l Onion Rings WEDNESDAY @ the MSC
Good morning from Northern Michigan, not far from the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. So far having a great getaway, complete with excellent weather.
Love onion rings when done properly. However, can be a fine line between good & not so good…too much batter, not enough batter, etc. I just had battered mushrooms yesterday so will probably pass on onion rings today. Another BN’er will have to take up the effort.
Enjoy 6/22/22 gang, I know I will

Good morning Ken and BN!
Glad you're having a good time away, Ken.
We're off to the airport in an hour, heading to Oklahoma. YAY!!
Today my Mom turns 85, but she doesn't know it. But I'll smile at the memories.
Oh, and I LOVE onion rings. I hate when the onion pulls out of the batter/crust, tho.
Game 4 for the Av's tonight. We have our lucky t-shirts packed and ready.
Have a good day all!!!

Good morning.
I'm not a big fan of onion rings, I can take them or leave them. Mostly leave them.

Good almost afternoon.
Hanging at 75 in chambers 5.
Not much else happening. And that’s a good thing when it comes to the court system.

Afternoon BNers
I would love to eat an onion ring but the results wouldn't be healthy.
Waiting for Astros game to start at 1:10. Another Mets game.

Aloha, peeps.
Love me some onion rings but they have to be done right, light batter, not too greasy.
Safe travels and happy daze to the vacationers.

I went to get my hair cut. When I was done I went to the park for a walk. On the way to the park I was driving in the left lane and I looked over at the car in the right lane. The guy had his window open and was resting his arm on the door. There was a lizard on his arm. Not a tattoo of a lizard. Not a cute little GEICO gekko-type lizard. A freakin' lizard that must have been 2 feet long.

Re: Nat’l Onion Rings WEDNESDAY @ the MSC
Thirty years ago, we were impressed with a restaurant serving a blooming onion, which is a whole onion split like a flower. We priced the cutter at a commercial kitchen store. It was over 200$!
That was a hard no.

Well…so I did have an order of onion rings at supper, but unfortunately they were indeed not done worth a damn. Boo hiss!!
