Break Out In Smiles SATURDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. Enjoy the day and smile! It makes me look better when I do.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Re: Break Out In Smiles SATURDAY@ the MSC
Good morning Bill and all others.
I remember the phrase I picked for under my high school year book pic…..
”smile - it increases your face value”
Looking like a Glorious day here at Ringville. Food shopping then hanging at a friends pool.
We are having dinner with Kevin’s best friend from high school. He and his wife are finishing up their custom built home in Merells Inlet, SC and will be moving there soon. We are meeting to discuss a fall visit with them so they can take us around to look at areas where we might want to move in 2-3 years

Same here, chores all done and it is wine thirty on the deck. There is a place down the road with live music and we can hear that perfectly from here, they are pretty good this week.

Re: Break Out In Smiles SATURDAY@ the MSC
A foggy and drizzly Sunday morning here in the Barossa Valley wine region.
Feels like weeks since we saw the sun. I need a few days of dry weather to allow me to get busy with the weed spraying and to burn the prunings.
Spent yesterday mowing and slashing weeds and then grubbing out stumps. The weeds are out of control - we've had a couple of a minor floods through the orchard which has brought in all sorts of weeds.
Had our first olives harvested during the week. A meagre tally of 45kg (~100lbs) but most of the trees are still immature. Hope to double that next year.

Black Olives / Green Olives ???
Either way, I love them.
What is an Olive by the way??
And that Olive Oil, she was a looker.....

Both black and green I guess.
Green is a stage of ripening, after which they go black.
Between Brutus and Popeye, there is too much competition for Olive Oil...

Love old Popeye! Olive Oyl had a brother , Coal Oyl. Her mother was named Nana Oyl. Her first boyfriend was Ham Gravy.

One of the vegetables I consumed as a kid.. It was canned in vinegar. I was an adult before I tasted straight spinach.

Re: Break Out In Smiles SATURDAY@ the MSC
Pretty sure I have never seen, let alone eaten tinned spinach.
If I am truthful, I struggle with the fresh stuff, even though we've grown it for years. It needs much garlic and plenty of chillies before I find it palatable.
