Good Morning Gang!
As I'm too lazy to check at this time, I'm curious as to the last time JB & The Reefers were on their summer Tues/Thurs/Sat tours that they omitted doing a Thursday show if not affected by weather or other unforeseen circumstances??
Anyway, hope you all have a good day & a Parrothead Happy Birthday to Janice's sister Angie!

Good Afternoon boys and girls.
Work is beyond ridiculous right now. More surveyors showed up yesterday in the middle of our celebration. I was in charge of the catering for both the day AND night shifts. Thank goodness that DID turn out great. I've never used this caterer and they did a great job.
Monday is that payroll thing I do. A few weeks ago they changed one of the processes (making is MUCH more difficult for me). Yesterday (because of our celebration) an HR VP of the company got wind of how we were being told by some in the Payroll group. He said ABSOLUTELY not. Go back to the way I was doing things - and my CEO just told me about 2 hours ago. So I had to undo all my work, and basically start over. Great in the long run going forward, tho.
Having a great lunch - leftover deviled eggs and potato chips.
Back to the work stuff...

Hi there! I took a back road to the river and a deer shot out in front of me while going down a big, steep hill. I slammed the breaks as the deer turned and was running almost straight down in front of me. With a one ton boat pushing me, I braced for the impact. The deer swerved; the car stopped and the deer lived. On the next hill I almost hit turkeys.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Dang Bill, glad wreck was averted. Sounds like it had the makings of an opening sequence to the film Deliverance II.bodypainter wrote: ↑August 11, 2022 4:38 pm Hi there! Afternoon BNers
Astros game was on YouTube today. Not my favorite but at least I could see the game. Astros won 3-7 against the Rangers. Next is Oaskland.
Pearland (Pear Land) Little League team made it to the World Series so the area is buzzing. Of course the kids miss the first few days of school. I'm sure they don't mind.
