Today is National Best Friend Day. Go hug your BFF. (if you don't have one or can't find one I wouldn't suggest hugging a stranger -- unless you want to visit me in Courtroom #5 of the Lancaster County Courthouse )
Best Friend Day (BFF Day) is a time to enjoy and appreciate your best friend. It's a day to honor and cherish the relationship.
If you're lucky, you have a best friend. If you are real lucky, you have a number of best friends. Best friends are very, very special people. You spend countless hours with your best friend going to events and activities, or just hanging out. You share secrets, hopes, dreams, aspirations, and disappointments with your best friend.
Some folks say you can only have one best friend. This author disagrees. You can have a couple at the same time, or several over time. Friends come and go for a variety of reasons, even BFFs are sometimes not forever. It's the result of many things, including moving, changing schools or jobs, and more. We hope that you are lucky enough to have a number of best friends over the years.
Celebrate Best Friend Day by:
Spending time with your best friend
Making efforts to find a best friend(if you don't currently have one)
Giving a small gift or card to your best friend
Calling an old best friend that you've lost touch with
Three of the Pelicans' starting pitchers were named to the Carolina League All-Star team, they play against the California League All-Stars in 2 weeks. One guy has 5 wins, the other two have 4 each. The pitcher who is leading the league in wins with a record of 8-2 didn't make the All-Star team. Kind of strange. Oh well. If they have another jersey auction at any of the games I go to the rest of the season, I'll have to try for one of the All-Stars. Last year they had 4 players on the All-Star team and I won 3 of their jerseys in auctions. I never bid on the 4th guy in any of the auctions because he was kind of a d!ck.
Ahoy! We're on our way back from Maine. I clamber around the rocky shore of Acadia, but one area was roped off. A man fell to his death from a cliff while taking photos the night before.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
