Yup. But as many Star Wars fans as there are , it might take awhile before it calms down.
Suggestion. Don't go it July
It was just so hot.
And rained almost every day

By my calendar we are barely halfway through summer.bodypainter wrote: ↑August 11, 2018 7:11 am Good morning BN. Summer days are coming to a close, so get out there and enjoy!
It's going to be hot for another 6 weeks or so.

We went in July and year before UniversalStudios in July. Drove both times. Only 14 to 16 hour trip.

Hi everyone! Beat my personal best in a 5K today. Just over a 14 minute mile walking AND no blisters. Tomorrow we have 10 miles ahead of us... Eeks.

It was supposed to rain today but so far it hasn't and the heat index was only 97 so I decided to go walk around Broadway at the Beach. I stopped in a sports bar that I've never been to, I thought it would a good place to get out of the heat and have a frosty beverage. I sat at the bar, there were only 5 other people there, and waited. And waited, and waited ... After about 5 minutes it was time to leave. If they don't want my money, I'll spend it someplace else.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Those calendars don't work well here. I went into three home decorating stores today. Summer was on clearance and orange and brown fall dust collectors lined the entrance with the smell of pumpkin spice luring the shoppers to buy pumpkin spice.surfpirate wrote: ↑August 11, 2018 2:31 pmBy my calendar we are barely halfway through summer.bodypainter wrote: ↑August 11, 2018 7:11 am Good morning BN. If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

I’m surprised the Christmas crap is not being pushed yet.

The biggest one I went into has started, just past the Halloween display.

What I don't seem to understand is, are there actually people who redecorate their home for each and every season?bodypainter wrote: ↑August 11, 2018 4:31 pm

The home decorating stores and mags seem to think so with 'the latest autumn colours' or 'latest spring lounge suite' and such rot.

Yep. About 8 miles from us. With all the rain we’ve had there will probably be more of these sinkholes.big john wrote: ↑August 11, 2018 9:24 am Never a dull moment in PA.

We don’t redecorate but I do change out the decorations for each season.Rabbitz wrote: ↑August 11, 2018 6:03 pmWhat I don't seem to understand is, are there actually people who redecorate their home for each and every season?bodypainter wrote: ↑August 11, 2018 4:31 pm
