Despite dropping hints that he'd be taking the summer off, Jimmy Buffett has announced a handful of dates for a 2006 summer tour.

5 years ago, he said he was taking a summer off. He toured in June and August, just like this year.

the local san francisco rock station has been advertising jimmy in the bay area april 25, vigoursly. but the name of the tour has not been identified.

But, according to the tour schedule, he is still taking 6-7 weeks off in June/July! I'm just glad he's decided to include Great Woods (Tweeter, Mansfield, MA) on his schedule.
