I attended one of the Great Woods shows during the 1996 tour and it was really cool to see him open the show that way. It was just Jimmy on guitar and Fingers on harmonica. They stood on a scissor lift above the lawn for the two acoustic opening songs, then when they were through they came through the pavilion to the stage to join the rest of band. It was quite a sight to see Jimmy coming through the audience at one of his shows.
