Re: What are YOU reading?
Haroun and the Sea of Stories by Salman Rushdie. My grand daughter had to do a 500 word essay comparing the character
Odysseus from the Iliad with Haroun from the Rushdie book. She's in 9th grade and it was due the same week they are
doing mid term exams. So I spent two nights and read the book. Only a a little over 200 pages. Then I helped her write
her paper. It's supposed to be a children's book, but it's really weird story.

When I was in 8th grade one of my brothers was a senior in HS. He paid me $2/page all year to do his book reports. He passed. Our mom was appalled when she found out.big john wrote: ↑December 18, 2020 10:25 am Haroun and the Sea of Stories by Salman Rushdie. Re: What are YOU reading?
I started reading the Joe Pickett series by C.J. Box at book 10 and read the new installment every year. With the extra time available to read this year I am going back to start the series from book# 1.

Me, too. Tried a Kindle-like tablet thing once and hated it.

Re: What are YOU reading?
I was strictly a “hold in my hand” book reader until Penny bought me a kindle for Christmas several years ago. I shifted more toward the e-books this year.

Re: What are YOU reading?
I love print. I do have some kindle but only about 20. I have close to 300 print books. Enough for the next pandemic.
