Until recently she was not allowed to wear pants and he has a screaming tantrum if she even trims her hair. (She does have pretty hair...but come on now...long hair needs trims to keep it looking nice!)

Don't be sorry....we've told her as much....and I think she 'gets it' a bit.....she is refusing to be controlled as much as she was even when she first started working last summer. I used to do volunteer work in a shelter for abused women and their children. So much of it started out this way . . .

Physical wound hurt, but they heal faster than the verbal abuse. You can only take so much of either, but being told over and over that you're stupid or worthless is more difficult to get over.
