Saying goodbye to a family pet today

Post by FINSUPinIdaho »

After 10 years of pure joy, I have to let my "first baby boy" go today.
Buffett Marley de Cuervo. He was a loyal pal and a great dog. Some things just s*** bad, and this is one of those.

Well that just s*cks. Nothing I can say will be able soften the emotion you must be feeling right now but if I could offer a small amount of advice . . . read The Art of Racing In The Rain by Garth Stein. Hopefully it will promote a few smiles. It is the best "dog" book I have ever read. Trust me.
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .

Totally agree! I love this book so much, I brought the audio book so I can listen to it on my iPod! It was very helpful and healing.

Sail on Buffett Marley de Cuervo. If you see a smiling sheltie that loves to play, that will be Morgan and she knows her way around the way around the rainbow ridge and is a good friend. if you see a little tortie with no tail, take it easy on her. That is Boo and she is still trying to learn the ropes.
