How do I make an image smaller...I know I've seen Penny do it just by changing the parameters in the tags...

Can you show me an example with the blue footed boobie pix in my sig?

Let me see if this works...hit quote to see

put these tags <..img src="url"width=150..>

leave out the dots

Well, that works out nicely as a temporary solution for correcting all those large sig line pics...

But the problem with that is you still have to download the entire huge image, and it's just being resized by your browser, on the fly, when it renders the page...

When that happens, it makes everything seem slower for those people that view those pages... IMO, those pictures should be just made smaller at the source if they will be displayed at that size on the page...

Related, so many times I see these huge sig line pictures that take up the entire screen space in one post! I thought the limit was 200 pixels high???

I see that the images aren't resized using the tags we used before.

Anyone have any suggestions on coding to resize, besides resizing them somewhere like photobucket?

HTML code no longer works in this version (the <img src=" thingy), so outside resizing will have to be done.

Nevermind...I read up on it and I know it's best, like gbman said, to resize outside and upload the smaller file size.
