Eh, I'm just not into it. I've found it to be very frustrating. It's probably my computer, an iMac. How do you know how to find someone you haven't talked for years anyway?

I always felt kinda odd being on Myspace thinking it was for a younger crowd. I always felt that being over 30 you are automatically targeted for a Dateline: To Catch a Predator series. Now that I see there are others with similar interests I don't feel so odd.

As a part time web designer, I too thought of MySpace as a place for kids and mainly teens to hang out, express themselves and be creative. Then I saw how many musicians are on MySpace and found some great music to listen to! I got hooked. I've done a few MySpace pages for clients as well as a couple for myself.

Why do so many people choose background designs for their MySpace pages that make it almost impossible to read the text?

Yea I know. Another thing, stop forcing music to load when a user goes in.
My Space has a poor design overall and doesn't allow for much customization. I avoid that and any site that forces me to load 5,000 objects

Facebook has been around for years... but it used to be a college student only thing (we all liked it better like that) But than they let high school kids (ick)and than finally open to anyone. (double ick)
