I never understood why the last show was perceived so negatively. I had no sound issues (granted I was in the seats, but the last few rows towards the lawn), and never had any sound issues when going to the bathroom or concession stands. Can't really blame Jimmy or Alpine for the mess getting into the parking lot because that was really a nasty storm.

People blasted the last show in 2019 for the severe storm that rolled in before. We were all stopped on the highway drinking and they closed the lot due to lightning in the area. They pulled all staff inside for safety reasons. Many did not get into the lot by the time the show was suppose to start. That is why Jimmy got a curfew waver to start later and play his entire set. I was in the pavillion and had no sound issues at all.

Blaming either Alpine or Jimmy for the storm rolling through is just insane. I was supposed to see Garth Brooks in Nashville last July. Nasty storm rolled through, delayed the show and eventually got cancelled. I don't blame Nissan Stadium or Garth for that decision. It was for the safety of everyone involved

Totally agree. We had a blast partying with people on the highway. Even the cops were enjoying our fun. While it wasn't the usual
scenario for Jimmy at Alpine, it sure beat the 40+ degree weather and sleet back in 2009

I ignore the Alpine "haters". The show in 2019 at Alpine was amazing and Jimmy seemed very humbled by the reception he got and his encores indicated that. The crowd was totally into the tailgating and the show. The only thing I hate is Live Nation and their convoluted website. At least we have four tickets in the pavilion and will be there with our daughter and son-in-law.

My wife and I have done many road-trips the last 20 years to see Jimmy. Alpine has always been our "bucketlist" place that has gone unchecked. We are planing to finally go this year. Hoping it's as amazing as we've always heard.
