Will be coming in from Dallas that morning - will there be a tailgate scene here or is it just a Parrothead party on 6th St?

So I found the below on the Austin Parrot Head Club facebook page (just did a copy/paste here)... looks like you can walk into their lot if you'd like, but seems like true venue parking is garages.

Ok concert goers! It's almost PARTY TIME!!! Get out your best Parrot Head gear....time to dress up and show out!!
If you bought a spot in the Tailgate Lot, you should've received an email with all the details and your parking spot location. If you didn't get it, let us know. If you didn't buy a spot, we are SOLD OUT. But there are plenty of other places in the area to park and walk on over. Here are the important points to know:
Radio Trop Rock will be on site all day! They will be playing music and broadcasting live. Stop by and say hi to Eric & Gina Babin! We’re lucky to have them come to the tailgate!
LOCATION:
Tailgate Lot is located at the corner of MLK and Trinity St. Access will only be allowed via Trinity St. If you are coming down MLK, you’ll pass the lot on your left. You’ll need to make the block and come around on Trinity to enter the lot.
ENTRANCE TIMES:
9:00 – 10:00 am RVs, Campers ONLY
This allows room for maneuvering and setting up. If you are one of those people, PLEASE arrive during this
time. If you arrive later, you will have to work around cars and tents being set up.
10:00 – 12:00 pm All other vehicles will be allowed to enter and set up. Please be mindful that everyone will be setting up, so
don’t run over someone!
12:00 pm Gates will be closed to vehicle traffic. This is a safety measure. If you bought parking spots, please arrive
between 10:00 – 12:00.
WALK-INS:
Yes! Of course, walk-ins are allowed. You can bring your chairs and coolers. We will have some pop-up tents for club members to gather under. If you leave your chairs and coolers when going to the concert, please don’t forget them. Also, the club is hiring a parking lot attendant, but we are not responsible for items left in the lot.
PARKING LOT ATTENDANT:
We are hiring a parking lot attendant. He will be on duty from 4:00 pm – midnight. He will be there primarily to make sure no one else parks in the lot who did not pay.
LEAVING YOUR VEHICLES:
Yes, you can leave your vehicles in the lot during the concert. Yes, you can leave them overnight. Please know that the gates will be closed at Midnight. If you plan to leave the lot after the concert, please make sure you are out by Midnight. Bobby isn’t going to come back at 2 am and let you out! 😊 He will be back on Sunday morning to open the gates so that those staying overnight can leave. Lot needs to be cleared out by Noon on Sunday.
CLEAN UP & PORT-A-POTTIES
The club rented 5 port-a-potties and a dumpster. Those will be located by the MLK gate (which is closed all day). Before going into the concert, please clean up your area. Put all trash in the dumpster. We are responsible for making sure the lot is cleaned up by Sunday. Be kind and make sure you clean up your area.
GRILLING:
You can bring your own grill if you want to and cook your own food. Propane grills ONLY. No charcoal grills are allowed. There aren’t really any restaurants nearby. But you could do UberEats, etc. Although, best suggestion is to bring your own food and beverages.
PARKING SPACE ASSIGNMENTS:
Please review the list at the end of this email. We are SOLD OUT of spots. Please don’t ask to move. This is like a puzzle trying to get everyone in and clubs blocked together. Bobby Zuhn will direct you to your spot. The lines are worn and faint. We should have the spots labeled but they will have a map to show you where to park. Please be respectful of your neighbors and don’t take over their space.
ACCESS TO MOODY CENTER:
It is about an 8-minute walk to the Moody Center. You’ll see the crowds headed that way. Just head up Trinity St. There is a little incline as you walk up Trinity but hey…it’s the Hill Country, right? There are some pedi-cabs in the area if you can catch one. Inside the venue is really nice. They have food and drinks for sale inside as well.
MOST IMPORTANT:
HAVE A GREAT TIME!! We are so excited to host the tailgate party. We love having our sister clubs join us and others that are not club members and coming from out of town and even out of state! Be kind to each other. The Parrot Head world is the BEST!

Be careful out there tomorrow, guys. 106 degrees at 5pm. Bring some water to alternate with your tequila and rum. Who knew we’d be thankful for an indoor show?

What a great show! The set list was great and seeing Django and Willis Allen Ramsey were real treats.

It took a while for the energy to get going, but once one pre game beach ball was tossed, it seemed like the entire arena instantly filled up with them.

The Austin concert experience is still a mixed bag for me. We were glad to be indoors because of the heat, but getting in and out of a downtown Austin venue is horrible. And the Uber set up for afterwords is just plain awful.

But Jimmy did great!
