2008 - Jimmy in St Louis, Jake in St Louis, Jimmy in Charlotte
For years I've been plugged into blenders and songs...
Had tickets 3x but let them go.. I wanted better seats. E-bay here I come. I have always had better luck with E-bay about a week before show. uUsually get tixs for UNDER face value!! See ya guys in STL. What could bet better- Buffett, Beer, and Cards Baseball!!
I had 4 tickets offered to me by 10:01. Next to last row, far right. I just can't bring myself to pay $600 to sit that far away, not even under cover (it will be April after all), on a school night.
I was being offered same seats.. row xx and stuff. Forget it. Nothing pulls up now. I even checked singles and they were way back also. Ebay the week of the show I usually score great seats and for about half price. At least thats how it worked for Vegas and San Diego. Actually in 2006 lots of empty seats for SD..
Row R center.. someone got lucky. I was trying singles for the heck of it and they are way up in the back. Did pull up a row AA LFT CTR for a single but thats as good as it gets.. Looks as if its sold out because Im not pulling anything else..
I put in 3 tickets and it its pulling row VV center.. I might as well be in the parking lot with those.. Forget it..I dont like the sides there either, its gotta be center of left or right center..Hopefully everyone has good luck!!
Anheuser Busch must have reserved 10,000 tickets or so, it sold out fast. I hear it's the nationwide launch for Land Shark Beer. We got UU right center at ten seconds after ten.
"..he'll cook you a fish that he caught that day then belt out a song for the crowd, he'll drink half your beer, but don't worry buddy, the next ones on the house. I'm talkin' 'bout my kind of people..."
according to the live nation site, there are a good chunk of the good seats that are the "premium" seats. That means they are most likely part of the season ticket program or VIP sales. I would also bet with A/B in town and the lauch of Landshark there were alot of seats reserved for promotions.
got 2 pavilions! not quite as good as I'd hoped....but I have seats and I'm going! that's the main thing. We're in the Center section Row YY. I am sure a lot of good seats up closer have been held back for A/B...I'm thinking better seats might be released prior to the show.
Only 45 more days WOO HOO
2 lawn tickets. Made up my mind unless I could snag really good seats that we were gonna stick w/ lawn. Got offered center section RR and SS, turned them back....OH well, have section A1 in Chicago.
