Getting ready to head down to Camden. Anyone know if the lots are opening at 10 and can anyone confirm if pop ups are permitted this year. Cheers!

How'd it go yesterday in regard to what time they opened the lots, did they allow tents/canopies, etc? Trying to see if I should go back next year after skipping the past two.

The parking situation there is a disaster. They tried to put me in the parking garage and told me that the lots were full. After a few minutes of driving around, I ended up in Lot 1, right across from the venue in a mostly empty parking lot. Even at show time, it was only 80% or so full.

They allowed canopies, but a lot of them were damaged when the thunderstorm blew through.

I was completely shocked yesterday. Absolutely no traffic going into Camden. Got parking in the lot right outside the venue, only told once to take down canopy and an hour later were told canopies can go up and stay up, no drunken a**holes in our lot. Only drawback was the storm of course. But once that blew thru and cleared, it was great for the show.

Aw, man- we tried to get into Lots 1/2 area with our buses around noon. We could see other buses in there. They sent us away to the 'official bus lot' so we were down in 12. Nice breeze and nice view and all, but man that's a loong walk. But no traffic going in to Camden.
No problems with tents in the bus lots, but we kept the driving lanes clear and just had them between the buses.

I'd have to say, the parking situation has improved in Camden the last two
years. Showed up around 1230 and got right into lot 2 about a 200 foot
walk ti our seats. Would have been more parking available if that dumbass
French circus wasn't set up in the lot near the ball field. :pirate:
