Reservation was made a few weeks ago. Now just have to have the flights fall into place. Fingers crossed.

Airfares here are $400.00 - $500.00 r/t, with most flights leaving here around 6 in the evening, and getting into Tampa around 11 PM.
Then all return flights leave Tampa at 7:15 AM the morning after the concert.
Ridiculous.

IF I go, I'm seriously considering driving down, since I'll have a LOT more free time on my hands then.

Booked a room at La Quinta for Friday & Saturday but I'm reluctant to commit to much more.
Based on recent history, any time we make plans for something that far in advance bad stuff happens and the whole plan goes in the crapper.

Booked the La Quinta Inn & Suites Tampa Fairgrounds a few weeks ago for the 17th-20th.

If we can get a flight that doesn't cost Jon's unborn son from a future hook up we will be there.

We're in the same boat but I really would like to go.

Wish you guys all the luck with flights and all. I sort of feel bad, I live over on the space coast and am hitting all 3 of the Florida concerts.

I've got a plan to be there.
One way fares aren't bad.
Snowbird friends will meet me in Tampa and we'll all drive home to Ottawa after the show.
Now I just have to get tickets. PH club tickets did not work out, so I'm ready for the public fray on Friday.

I'm cancelling my room at Red Roof Inn. (Thursday to Monday).
Stayng at LaQuinta instead. $69.00 per night for us Senior Citizens.
I've decided I'm going. If I don't find a decent airfare by April 1st, I'll drive down.
I realize in the end it'll probably cost me more than if I just buy a plane ticket, when you factor in gas, two nights on the road, meals enroute, etc., but I've had enough of getting jacked around by the airlines.
