I'd like to try and have my group of misfit pirates join in the festivities. When you say "under the trees" where are you referring to?

So I just confirmed on the phone that the lots don't open until 2 pm because of an event at the fairgrounds in the morning

Fairgrounds Website said 1pm last time i checked. Did something change?

Well, here we are, the last minute gate-crashers, as usual.

Moe & I will be flying in on Silver Wings on Friday morning (dawn patrol, yay), staying at the LaQuinta and hoping to attend the soiree at Uncle Fat's on Friday night and then on to the concert on Saturday.

Can't wait to see all our friends again and to finally meet (not meat) some folks we've been wanting to meet (not meat) for a long time!

Oh yeah, I think someone's overdue for a birthday spanking, as well.

Woo-hoo!! Cannot wait to see everyone!

The day has finally arrived! We leave Destin Friday morning and arrive at the La Quinta after lunch. We are bringing Mr. Utley and Lulu both this year. We will be at the Uncle Fat's pre concert party hosted by the TBPHC. In light of the late gate opening, we are setting up at the La Quinta pool after breakfast with a large batch of Bloody Caesars to start your Buffett Day off right! We hope to see you there!

So how do we get into uncle fat's party? We are flying down from Charlotte tonight and staying at the La Quinta. Never been to a show in Tampa so looking forward to it.

Would love to meet up with other fans Friday night if there is a gathering somewhere!

If you get hungry after reading this, find us at the Big Chair with the twin 20 foot flagpoles and grab something to eat!

I've been told from some reps that they MAY let folks in earlier if cars start to show up, I guess they posted the 1:00 opening time out of fear of the normal throng showing up early. A few of us are staying at the Hampton, so if we can't
Get in before that we may swing by the LA Quinta to say phins up.
