I was really annoyed that Bubba skipped the Sunshine State last year and I'll be on vacation for the other two dates, but Tampa has the second best parking lot on the tour, second only to Great Woods in Massachusetts... already booked a room for two nights at the Red Roof and will hope that the ticket Gods smile upon me in a week... Fins WAAAY UP!!!

We've been to Mansfield several times before moving to Florida from New Hampshire, a year and a half ago. Missed Mansfield last year. I hope to get tickets next week for Tampa. Hope the tailgating is anything close to as much fun as Mansfield.
I'll keep an eye on this thread for hints as to when the gates open, best place to park, etc.

Tampa is a fantastic tailgating experience for all.Gates open around noon.
There is a stand of trees at one end that quite a few of the clubs gather about.
Premium parking for the RV's and such is available and right in the thick of things.
Anywhere is the main field is great as the flow of the walk-about will take you around an hour to make the full circuit.
This is also one of the few locations that actually allows you to tailgate while the concert is ongoing, if you didn't score tickets in time the day is not a loss.

Wow....from new York and visiting Tampa (Anna Maria Island) may 10 to 16. Don't want to do Orlando (indoors)
But comparing the tailgate to Great Woods is making me check airfares for a quick weekend back in Tampa
Is it really close to GW....I do that and Jones Beach ALMOST every year...Cincinnati 3 times.

This one particular pirate is looking at 50 later this year. I guess I have to start cashing in a few fun tickets

In my 17 year experience with T.M./L.N., this was the worst I'vd ever had at getting past that silly-a$$ security entry thing. Took me over 20 minutes to "get it right", but finally got a so-so ticket.

2 nights booked at Red Roof weeks ago and got through on my phone and bought tickets for section 8 and was stoked because those are the best seats i have ever had... decided to try again on a whim and got section FOUR so that makes up for him skipping Florida last year... Fins WAAAAY UP this year...
