FL December shows canceled?

Just heard from a very reliable source that the December FL shows are canceled and being moved to Feb?

Anyone heard this?

I have been told the same thing from someone I trust. I'm anxiously waiting for confirmation and what the February dates look like. We have front row seats (beyond excited) and if they are going to move the dates, I would rather a postponement and honor tickets then an all out cancellation.

This thread is very confusing. Why would he cancel the shows? It’s almost a month out. If nothing by now came out I would be surprised. He has not played Florida in years and these are his “hometown” shows. I bet he is really looking forward to these shows

I don’t think Jimmy would get us all excited and tell us in August “don’t worry Florida dates are coming” then release tour dates ,let us buy tickets, and cancel them at the last minute.

To be accurate, Jimmy has not been to West Palm Beach or the Fairgrounds in Tampa since 2017. These are the 2 locations we like to frequent the most. Just saying.

That being said, I think the Ice Palace will have lots of unsold seats for a show in December since there isn't much space around there to tailgate anymore.

At this point, it would be very odd if they were to be canceled.

I talked to an EXTREMELY reliable source today.
She said this is not a rumor- the December shows have been pushed back to February. (I think she said that leg will begin on Feb. 18th).
If that changes, it’s because Jimmy changed his mind.

Well they better officially announce it then as I have to cancel flights, my Mville resort stay, rental car, and ticket. All shows are still listed on Mville TV and Mville website. They are pushing it as it is pretty much a month away here.

Wow. Major news. If true a official cancellation is needed ASAP. Many flights may not be transferable. Hopefully the cancellation will be announced before some of the pholks book said flights.

As of this afternoon 10/31 the Florida shows are still listed as happening in December on both the Margaritaville.com tour page and the Margaritaville TV schedule page
