Will be dropping in on Jimmy and the Reefers this october here in Vegas after a one year hiatus to a journey that began at the Texas Opry House in Houston in 1975. I got to thinking, if 2011 were a Hall of Fame Tour, what songs would I want to hear. So limiting my list to 27 songs, here is what I came up with:

Door No.3
A Pirate Looks at 40
Margaritaville
Son of A Son of A Sailor
Havana Daydreamin
Nautical Wheelers
The Captain and the Kid
Tin Cup Chalice
Volcano
Grapefruit Juicy Fruit
Brown Eyed Girl
Cheeseburger in Paradise
Why Don’t We Get Drunk
Pencil Thin Mustache
Fins
Cuban Crime of Passion
Great Filling Station Holdup
Come Monday
Fruitcakes
Gypsies in the Palace
It’s Five O’clock Somewhere
West Nashville Grand Ballroom Gown
Changes in Latitudes Changes In Attitudes
Bama Breeze

First Encore: One Particular Harbor
Last Mango in Paris

Final Encore: When the Coast Is Clear

So what would he play on your Hall of Fame Tour

Glad you enjoyed this thread cdnkeywest. I had hoped more would offer their thoughts. But one thing I noticed from both of our posts. While Jimmy's new stuff is good, it is primarily the old material that is Hall of Fame worthy!

Wastin' Away until 10/23 in Vegas

I'll be in Vegas as well.

I've found that I've grown to primarily appreciate some of the less common songs live, as opposed the popular party favorites. I would love to hear the following, and of course would do my best to video it for us all to enjoy:
Twelve Volt Man
Floridays
Havana Daydreamin'
La Vie Dansante
Smart Woman
That's What Living is to Me
Tryin' to reason w Hurricane Season
Souveniers
Take Another Road
Banana Republics
Happily Ever After

That is an AWESOME list!!! I love West Nashville Grand Ballroom Gown! It's actually almost too hard to only do 27 songs.

Door No.3 - I would change to "Weather is Here I wish You Were Beautiful"
A Pirate Looks at 40
Margaritaville
Son of A Son of A Sailor
Havana Daydreamin - I would change to "Meet Me in Memphis"
Nautical Wheelers
The Captain and the Kid
Tin Cup Chalice
Volcano
Grapefruit Juicy Fruit
Brown Eyed Girl
Cheeseburger in Paradise - I would change to "Cowboy in the Jungle"
Why Don’t We Get Drunk
Pencil Thin Mustache
Fins
Cuban Crime of Passion - I would change to "Boat Drinks"
Great Filling Station Holdup - I would Change to "The Great Heart"
Come Monday
Fruitcakes - I would change to "Barefoot Children"
Gypsies in the Palace - I would change to "Defying Gravity"
It’s Five O’clock Somewhere
West Nashville Grand Ballroom Gown
Changes in Latitudes Changes In Attitudes
Bama Breeze - I would change to "If the Phone Doesn't Ring It's Me"
