I had a nice chat with a insider at River Bend Music Cincinnati a couple of days ago. The person stated that Buffett is coming in mid July. The announcement of the exact date will be released soon. Yahooooooooooo

Buffett confirmed Virgina Beach concert Sat. July 13th. Cincinnati should be the following week. Keith Urban is at River Bend Thursday July 18th. Looking like a Tuesday again. Come on Saturday.

The tickets go on sale on February 23 at 10:00 AM. I haven't seen a pre-sale date, but there there normally is one. Does anyone know how you get the pre-sale code. I assume there is some club you have to join. I can't find any info on it.

I don't recall a presale for Buffett at Riverbend, at least not recently. Maybe other BNers can verify that or prove me wrong? (it wouldn't be the first time)

Cincinnati, the wait is over. Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band will perform at Riverbend Music Center for one night only on TUESDAY July 16 at 8pm, as part of Jimmy Buffett’s “Songs From St. Somewhere” Tour 2013.

“Jimmy Buffett concerts are legendary in Cincinnati. 25 years, 45 sell-outs and over 850,000 Parrotheads later, Buffett continues to be the must-see performance every summer at Riverbend.” said Executive Director Mike Smith.

Jimmy will be going back into the studio soon to record a new album, tentatively titled Songs from St Somewhere, to be released on Mailboat Records. Last summer Jimmy released a new CD/DVD on Mailboat Records called Welcome To Fin City, which was recorded at two Las Vegas concerts. Both the CD/DVD and the Blu-Ray/CD contain 14 songs and 15 videos which includes the previously unreleased bonus video of "Elvis Presley Blues." Also now available on iTunes is a live video of Jimmy Buffett and Lionel Richie singing the hit "All Night Long" which was recorded in 2012 at Comerica Park in Detroit.

I've only seen him in Cincinnati twice but there wasn't a presale either time.

Yeah, I don't remember them every doing a pre-sale in Cincinnati either, but I saw that they are doing one in Austin, so I wasn't sure if they were doing them everywhere for this tour.

*whew* Got our room(s) before the price went up. I got one at the Best Western Clermont where we always stay, and one at the Comfort Inn across the river from the Margaritaville in Newport by the barge bars where they had the pre-concert last year. I will cancel the one that is 'less desirable' closer to summer. Ok, Cincinnati PHC: let's have a BANG-UP pre-party on Monday night !!! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Booked a room for 2 nights just in case. We have wanted to go to different venues for some time now other than Apline and Chicago. Last year we went to Omaha so maybe Cincy this year! From the past years "Who's going to Cincy" it sounds like the lots are just as good as Chicago and rivaling Alpine! Pobably still going to Alpine and Chicago this year, but may add Cincinnati to the mix! We saw Incubus there a couple of years ago and thought it was a great venue so we are strongly considering!
