I hope you are doing well! Time to open another bottle of wine! The last one had a hole in it!
@JW: this would be a saying used in german and in our language.
But if you are talking about an empty glass, lets say an empty beer glass, you can joke and ask the bartender to
"get the air out of your glass".
Just an example of a typical Swiss saying.

I'll use that when we go see Jack in Key West. :D
Hahaha, yes do that! Of course it would actually be "Could you please remove all this unnecessary air from my glass?"
Ha! Must remember that!
So the problem is someone keeps putting extra air in the glass when there is plenty of air outside the glass. Yep, that has to be fixed!

Love Maui. You ever been to a bar called Viva La Familia? Don't think it's there anymore, but they used to serve Liter Margarita's in a wine carafe. Was in Kihae (may have spelled that wrong  )

Considering it. It was a pretty good show. Lotta beer left in the keg. Weekend off. I may listen but be in and out of the thread.

Would indeed be Kihei. Knew I was spelling it wrong. Over 4 years of my life there, you'd think I'd be able to spell the town names

Actually when you see Jack, you need to tell him:
polite version:
Jack, please get the air out of my glass.

The usual BN phrase would be:

Jack, Get the Da*n air out of my glass. NOW! please

Well, fellow setlisters, time for me to calm down and get some sleep in a short while.
Mitch, thanks a lot for maintaining tonight's setlist!

Setlisters, thank you for the funny and inspiring nights I always have here!
Some of you I'll see in three weeks time IRL in Mansfield! Safe travels!
All others I hope to see back online here June 23! [smilie=gt-happyup.gif] [smilie=gt-happyup.gif]

Another big Thank You goes out to ChzHeadParrothead! You're da man!

Good night everyone.
P.S.: I need to remove some air now! [smilie=asa.gif] [smilie=asa.gif]

Well, I don't know Jack in person yet, (will meet him in GW I hope) I just figured a couple of BN'ers (includin me and spouse) being at Bagatelle saying this in the same time.
Imagine his puzzled face...
