I liked it last year when he did this song right after Too Drunk To Karaoke. I could take an extra long bathroom break then go for a beer.

At least he stopped the Land of 1000 Cheeseburgers nonsense.

I have to think he keeps Cheeseburger in the rotation for the families who bring kids to the shows. That and Fins and Volcano and Jollymon were the ones my keet sang along with as a toddler in the car.

That was almost 20 years ago, now he rolls his eyes at Jimmy.  :(

Along with APLA 40, this has to be the most beautiful song on the yellow album, and one of his top 10 ever.

And then he plays crap like Too Drunk To Karaoke and 5:00 Somewhere
And Cheeseburger.

The first time he played this was at Great Woods in 2009, I was at that show. I'll never be there again.

I've got to say the sound quality of the concert on this tablet of mine is excellent.

OK-I just went through about 15 minutes of BN telling me that Discussion was closed and I couldn't get to this thread--is someone trying to tell me something?

It was doing that to me too. I just kept hitting the "bacK" button and eventually I was back in.

You must have stumbled into that thread where the guy is looking for Vegas tix. Penny locked it and redirected.

Maybe it's just me but I think this song brings the show to a grinding halt, completely kills the momentum.

yeah--it is one thing when Mac or Nadirah do a solo since we know them, but this just isn't a crowd pleaser at all.

Look, I unduhstand if this tour's set list isn't enough to lure you back. But you must come back at least one more time...we cannot have the Men of GW calendar without the HOG.
