Jimmy's Shirt

Post by opharbour »

I popped the DVD in and my wife came over to watched and pointed out that Jimmy wore the exact same shirt at last night's (Saturday) concert in Tinley Park (although he had a t-shirt on underneath).

Only 3 songs on this DVD? I hope for a Fenway Park concert DVD. Make it the Friday night show. PLEASE!

Is it worth buying????? These little mini matinee's, cd's, expensive books, etc....... What do you think?????? :o
I justified it like this: I would spend $15 on the CD, and this is like getting a little mini matinee DVD for $5. Not too bad of a deal.

I just ordered the CD & DVD from Mailboat Records, and on their site it says "Buy this CD set and receive a bonus DVD, containing 6 songs! " What's up is there 3 or 6 songs on the DVD??

For those of you who would like to see what is on the double Live From Hawaii album without going anwhere else here you go:

Live From Hawaii
1. Great Heart
2. Coconut Telegraph
3. Gypsies In The Palace
4. In The Shelter
5. Burn That Bridge
6. Son Of A Son Of A Sailor
7. Come Monday
8. Natives Are Restless
9. Grapefruit Juicy-Fruit
10. It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere
11. One Particular Harbour
12. Cheesebuger in Paradise
13. We Are The People Are Parents Warned Us About
14. Quiet Village - Martin Denny

Disc 2
1. Thank God The Tiki Bar Is Open
2. Everybody's Talkin’
3. Why Don't We Get Drunk And Screw
4. Jolly Mon Sing
5. It's My Job
6. Boat Drinks
7. Far Side Of The World
8. A Pirate Looks At Forty
9. Changes In Latitudes, Changes In Attitudes
10. Mexico
11. Margartaville
12. Volcano
13. Fins
14. Back To The Island
15. Stories We Could Tell

The DVD is hilarious. Jimmy was obviously having a blast. I agree - why not more on it? It costs the same - printing wise - to make a "6" track DVD as it would to make a full-length DVD. Maybe it really is a marketing scam - they get us all to buy what they let out just to get us ready to pay the money to get the real release. If and when that ever comes out (like the Buckeye Lake 'Fruitcakes On Tour' live video - which I've seen - that was never released).

There is what there is and I'm glad to have those. Otherwise it wouldn't exist right? By the way, Live From Hawaii is the first of the live Tiki Time Tour albums that I've bought. I don't plan on buying any of the other live albums for now. I don't need them all. Maybe some day I'll get the other ones if I can find them used.

Purchased it on 8-19, received both of them on Friday 8-27.

I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one who missed the track list. Would have been nice if it was included, now I'll just have to print one out and keep it with the disc's.

Oh no!!! My 15 microseconds of fame....and I used them up wearing a grass skirt and a coconut bra!!!!! Oh yea and I forgot about the flashing boobs....

The worst part of all of this was that while I and 2/3s of the Harem were hanging out and getting filmed by the crew, wifepoo was being responsible and went to find out where the bus was to take us back to Lahiana....so she missed being in the show!!!!.......man I am never gonna hear the end of this....!!!!

I think as soon as it arrives I'll just sneak it out of the house....like it never happened.....

My DVD arrived at my house today even though I screwed up and put my home zip at my work address... I had noticed that with the cd and emailed, but it must have been too late.

My initial reaction was - holy crap is this awesome! I have high def tv, and I have no way to confirm if this is in HD, but it is incredibly vivid and bursting with beautiful colors.

Then I thought... WDWGDAS???? But I justified it with the ukeleles and thought "you go Jimmy!" Why not?

Then I thought... that's it? I fumbled with the remote to find the menu and uncover the hidden tracks, but no luck.

I'm thrilled to have it, and it's beautiful! Short, but beautiful!!!!

I got mine in yesterday's mail and I think it's time for a full length DVD. But Mailboat Records needs to spend more than $0.03 on packaging.

Finally got mine, too! I figured it would be a shorter DVD, since it was basically an extra with the CD.

Yes, a full DVD would be quite cool, but sold seperately.
