University Aged Parrotheads

Hoe many Parrotheads on here are my age? I'm 21 years old and up here in Canada there aren't many Parrotheads my age. Most people say I listen to old people music and they either don't know who he is or they'll say "didn't he sing Margaritaville or Pina Coladas". Seeing him in concert I know that there are Parrotheads my age. He just hasn't caught on north of the border. The one good thing is that I like being unique, so it's cool to be the only one in town with a "Parrothead on Board" in my back window. Do others my age find themselves to be the only Parrotheads at school?

yea i see a few margaritaville shirts on campus once inawhile or here cheeseburger coming from dorm rooms not often though

I'm 22 and I was one of the few at my college... our school only had about 900 students though total, but I have my Parrothead license plate on the front of my car and I wore my Buffett T's to class a good bit.

wow your stories sound unbelievably familiar to me. lol Probably since I am 23 years old living in Washington state. Yep I am proud of my P-head liceanse plate PHrame, and all my future acquisitions.
So yeah, I get that a lot too. "who is he?" or "what is a parrothead?" And I am always to glad to enlighten them on the subject for the purpose of exposing another mind to this carnival world.

I enlighten my friends on him whether they want to hear it or not. Maybe that's why no one I know likes him.

Here at Northeastern University there have been quite a few conversions and I feel I am getting close to turning this place into as parrothead as any other school is.

21 here....Living in Daytona Beach going to flight school...flyin' & surfin' everyday. Enjoyin' my bubba. I usually whip out the JB at parties. The ladies love to dance to CCOP & desperation samba...I usually play those a few times if ya know what I mean. It's agood change from the freak nasty music we usually blast

Yeah, I'm 19 and go to the University of Alabama. It's hard to come by REAL Parrotheads our age here, although you wouldn't think it would be so, considering our location. Oh well, I've only met one real parrothead in my year and a few months that I've been here. Bit of a disappointment, really. Ah well, I know I've really rubbed off on some of my friends, as far as Jimmy's music goes!

you can always hang out with some older pholks. you'd be amazed....I can drink....ALOT..but some veteran PH's just put me to shame...like when my dad and his friends get together...I don't even try anymore....

I am 18 at Indiana University and am trying to convert my floor into parrotheads. My dorm room is all Jimmy Buffett/Corona. They will soon see the clear choice!

I'm 22 and a part time student at the University of Alabama-Huntsville. I don't think I have ever met any other parrotheads on campus, but my boyfriend is a parrothead (24, really good looking), but has his degree already!

I am 23 years old, went to Auburn University and now live in Athens, GA. There were about 4 parrotheads at Auburn and I have seen a lot of t- shirts and license plate tags in athens.

25, but JUST graduated (leave me alon, alot of people take the 7 year plan), me and a few PHriends traveled with before Labor Day for 3 Buffett shows, every one couldn't believe we were PHans! Hey, he transcends age groups.....my first concert was when I was 12!

I'm over 50, but I was aged at a university.

Ok, over 25 years ago, but it still counts, right? I wish I'd known Bubba's music then....I might've been a different person.

Not that I'm a icky person....I just got cool much later than necessary!!!
