What a Night!!!

Post by CousinInCali »

It's 1:00 AM, but I just had to post this. I just got back from the Coach House and the night was a blast!
Mac, Peter, Jim, Ralph, Roger, TC and Jim Oliver. Plus, our own Stars On The Water.
For those of you that haven't seen Mac or PMG... Don't walk... Run to see them next time you can. The music was great and everyone was so nice. Got to talk with Ralph for a while and got to meet everyone else.
Best $15.00 I ever spent.

Sounds like you had a night to remember forever, Cousin.
Jerry Gontang and Stars On the Water were here in April, and they were DYNAMITE!
I hadn't seen them since their Koko Loco days, but they sounded better than ever. I was able to get their C.D. "Under the Covers" and have them autograph it too.

I sure hope everyone in Southern California appreciates how good they are, because THEY ARE! 8)

Thanks again for sharing your tales of your memorable evening with us.

I second that emotion! Before I saw this post, I had scanned the list for any mention of the show and started a new thread.

I wrote our story and it's on our website:

It was an incredible experience!!

I first saw Jerry with Koko Loco at Migration 2001. This year I've seen Stars on the water at least 4 times:

Phins to the West - They had everyone out of their seats and dancing til 2am

Migration - Got to see Jerry perform solo in that back of an old truck (after the event was over, he came to our Tiki Bar we had set up in one of our rooms and sat on a full plate of freshly made squirt cheese h'orsdouvers (SP?)...we have pictures...haha!)

Last Man Standing last Friday - Rockin' with Amy Lee, John Frenzi and Doyle Grisham

The Coach House last night - though it was a short set, Jerry's energy permiated the room and got everyone warmed up for a wonderful night!

Jerry Rocks!!!!

Are you a Nascar fan? Mac told a great story about Nascar buying one of his songs, "Junked Cars", last night!
