Name that movie

Post by Y-NO-9-O »

OK, here is a different twist to an existing theme. I searched and did not find this.

Name the movie that the line comes from. We all have a favorite movie that we can recite, line for line. Let's see what we can come up with. Song lyrics are easy to google, but not all movie lines can be googled. So here I go, I will throw out a couple of my favs:

1) Arugala... it's a veg-a-ta-ble...

2) Maybe I should'a rolled down the window...

3) You must love the little birdies to give them this to perch on...

4) We're on a mission from God... (the easiest one, but I will watch this movie every time TBS shows it)

#3 is Roxanne

Truly was our night to win

If I'm hearing that voice in my head say it in a Steve Martin way, would I be on the right track?

OK, maybe I paraphrased, I will give you all #2: When Harry Met Sally (when Billy Crystal is eating grapes and attempts to spit the seed out the window).

But I will leave you with an infinitely easier one:

Life goes by pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around, you might miss it.

Oh, this is one of my favorite games.

1. I have the motive which is money and the body which is dead.

2. I'd like to horsewhip you, Virgil.

3. What we have here is a failure to communicate.

4. Fiddle-dee-dee.

5. Civil rights is one thing. This here is somethin' else.

6. I want to say one word to you. Just one word. Plastics.

7. Rosebud.

8. I mean, it's real hard to be free when you are bought and sold in the marketplace.

9. I got a good mind to join a club and beat you over the head with it.

10. My heart is, and always will be, yours.
Gentilly ... 42 years is a long time to wait .... a Northeast Texas woman can hope.
My love is an anchor tied to you, tied with a silver chain.

Try this one:

"Lower your flags and march straight back to England, stopping at every home to beg forgiveness for a hundred years of theft, rape, and murder. Do this and your men shall live. Do it not, and every one of you will die today. "
