I like beer or rum mostly.. depends on my mood... Tequila is reserved for rare occasions when I don't mind blacking out and not knowing what i'm going to do...
Tool? Great band! I'm guessing you've never heard of them of though which wouldn't surprise me since you're a city boy that can't even hold his liquor.
Nice avatar by the way, how incredibly fricking original. Just like a pansy ass city slicker to resort to thievery. Oops, didn't mean to interupt your monkey spankin', I figure it's about time for ya to switch hands so you best get back to bidness. Don't wanna keep your boy IsleReef a-waitin':D

Duuuuude.... Not sure where you are shopping, but I have found Herradura in a few state stores.JW wrote:Hey, 1more!1more wrote:Bourbon in the winter, beer the rest of the year.
And of course...tequila...especially Herradura.
You're the first one I've seen other than me that mentions Herradura. Which have you had? El Jimador is really good, but I LOVE sippin some "1870" reposado, straight (of course) on a hot summer night. Have you tried that one? (The label says Reposado Antiguo Tequila 1870 De La Fabrica De San Jose Del Refugio".....WHEW!!!) Where did you find Herradura tequila? We don't have it locally here in central Ohio. I picked it up on a business trip to Chihuahua.
Jeff
Now.. in order:
Tequila:
Sauza Commemorativo Anejo - oily, peppery goodness; Sauza Tres Generaciones - smoooooth... Patron Anejo - not bad, but not as good as the Commemorativo and twice the price Milagro Anejo - mmmmm, but can't find it in Central Ohio, and the store next to Denny's Latin Diner in Bayside was out... bastards.
Beer: Cheap - Amber Bock, Leinie's Creamy Dark, Heilemann's Black X
Moderate - hmmmm.. none in OH
Expensive - Newcastle Nut Brown, Guinness, Negra Modelo, Rogue River products.
Never on a bet (or even to keep from being on the receiving end of Shane's "attention" - Corona.
Rum:
Bacardi 8 year mixed with Pineapple juice, out of an Eddie Bauer 1 litre bottle 1:1 in KW; Bacardi 151 mixed 1:2 with pineapple juice for parking lot parties (guaranteed to make you miss the folks you are meeting by 30' or less)...

1) Jack Daniels and Coke or Shots of JD
2) Beer - Michelob Light, Modelo Especial, Corona, Molson Golden, Red Stripe, etc.
3) Rum and Coke or Shots of Rum (Bacardi Gold)
4) Wine
Last) Tequila - it only took one New Years Eve. "I swore I'd never drink again" and I haven't.
With all that being said, you put me on a beach with warm water and warm rays and I'll drink just about anything.

Oh so many things I can’t remember
And way too many things I can’t forget
What time does church begin? Tell the priest I’m checking in
I want to cleanse my soul so I can do it again and again and again and again

Rum -- and ONLY Mt. Gay... preferably the Extra Old, but usually you can only get Eclipse in the States. Doorly's Blue Parrot is excellent also. You can sometimes get Appleton Old Estate, but that is Jamaican, not Bajan, so we pretend it doesn't exist unless desperate!! And no ICE mixed only with chilled cola and key lime juice! Or on the rocks. It is allowed in a properly made yellowbird, like on Bequia. Let's have some standards here!

The Tres Generaciones is petty awesome stuff. That's why I quit buying it
Started to like it too much.
I like tequila, Dos Equis Mexican beer and haven't had much rum. Don't really know what to do with it. Not much on mixed sweet thingsor fruity drinks
Mostly I drink vodka/rocks or scotch & soda. A lot of wine in there, too. Tonight though it is Margaritas.
