That is funny...I love the taste of them, but I usually pick all the chicken out cuz it doesn't really look like chicken...

It is also funny you bring that up..New York must have fajitas....Eric thought I was crazy when I said McDonald's had fajitas...guess they don't have that in Kansas..
Need more energy? Need your appetite suppressed?
Great product to help you lose weight naturally...

Why do you want them to look at kiddie p***?
Thats not cool.

Those a**holes need to be tied up by their nads for the damage they do to the scouting program, not to mention the trauma to their victims.

Those of us who live the scouting program work very hard to insure that low-lifes like that cant get in but as in everything a few bad ones get through and make a lot of news.

So in case you are wondering, I do take a little offense to your statement even tho I know you meant it in fun. Denigrating a program that does so much for our youth is in bad taste.
The scouts do a lot of good. I just like to point out hypocracy. Scouts won't let gay men be troop leaders but they had a leader who was convicted of child p***. I have nothing against the scouts. I was a scout until about 7th grade. This is just like the Catholic religion (which I belong to) a lot of good, some bad but a lot of hypocracy.
There is no hypocracy there even tho the scouts stance against gays certainly politically incorrect. The scouts have rules disallowing membership to anyone involved in any illegal activity involving children and they are rigorously enforced. Boy Scouts at every level from National to the troop level take careful steps to make sure these people cannot be leaders or in any way be involved with boys. I can list them if you want. Suffice to say BSA has spent millions of dollars designing and implementing safety programs to ensure the welfare of the boys in our care. So ... it is not hypocrasy it is in fact consistency whether or not you agree with it. Just because you disagree with the BSA's political stance, as do many even within the scouts, please do not resort to the tactics of some on this board of name calling. You are either uninformed about the BSA or you are just stirring up s**t. Either way you have attacked ME and I dont appreciate it. The a-hole that was convicted was thrown out of the BSA and will have to deal with the courts. He will never be a boy scout leader again, unlike your Catholic church which shuffles child molesters around.
1) My original post was a joke. I am sorry if you did not see it or laugh at it. You are a strong supporter of BSA as I am a strong supporter of the Catholic Church. I may not agree with everything that they do but I know a good Catholic joke when I hear one and I will also tell you a Catholic joke as well.

2) I don't know what else to call it other than hypocracy. Maybe it is just ironic that the leader was into child p***.

3) I don't know where I have resorted to any name calling and I am not just starting s*** as others do on this board. I am sorry if you can not take a joke. Next time, I guess I will try to be a little bit more pc when I make a joke. I would hate to offend someone.
1) I aknowledged your joke as such, it just wasn't funny. I too know a good Boy Scout joke when I see one, like this

2)RE: Hypocrisy

Main Entry: hy·poc·ri·sy
Pronunciation: hi-'pä-kr&-sE also hI-
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural -sies
Etymology: Middle English ypocrisie, from Old French, from Late Latin hypocrisis, from Greek hypokrisis act of playing a part on the stage, hypocrisy, from hypokrinesthai to answer, act on the stage, from hypo- + krinein to decide
1 : a feigning to be what one is not or to believe what one does not; especially : the false assumption of an appearance of virtue or religion
2 : an act or instance of hypocrisy

The BSA kicked this guy out. Had the BSA let him stay involved in Boy Scouting, you would have a point about being hypocritical but they didnt. They acted consistently with their policies of youth protection.

3) It is possible that I took too much offense to this, but I really saw this to be in poor taste which is something people here know I rarely do. I have dedicated 10 years to being a scout leader and have in fact seen the results of adults placed in positions of responsibilty abuse that trust. The scouts are an easy target because where the kids are is where the pedophiles want to be. Such is the burden of any youth-oriented group. It is a touchy subject with me and you touched it. Time to move on. Have a great rest of the weekend

Work is work, that's why they have to pay you to show up to do it and there's another word for play.
Remember when you're choosing a career that all work gets old, so choose something that pays well.
And it doesn't matter how much money you make if you don't have the time or energy to spend it when you're not working.

2. "BE SAFE." When my two boys became teenagers (currently 20 & 21) I realized that they would run arround and do the things I did at that age. I was not always safe, but I was lucky. So instead of telling them not to do the things I did at their age (drinking and smoking 8)) I just told them to "be safe". Told them to call me or stay where they were if driving was out of the question. Well (pat myself on the back here) they listen to me. And made it through the teenage years without too many battle scars.

3. Listen to Jimmy Buffett music!
good job :D

my dad just told me when I was 16, "don't get arrested and don't make me a grandfather...aside from that, i don't care what you do" He would have caught hell from my mom if she heard that   :pirate:
Thank you! Yeah, the Moms (bless their hearts) always have a different opinion from the Dads.

My Dad had great advice:

"You can do whatever you want, as long as you're willing to pay the consequences."

and

"Don't do anything you wouldn't want to see printed on the front page of tomorrow morning's paper."

best advice my mom gave me is when i was a teenager. she said " long after the lust is gone, ya gotta eat. so, marry a good woman who can cook." took her advice and did just that and have been married 25 years to the same good woman... i'm also 50 lbs. heavier now, but happy.
if the phone doesn't ring it's me...
