Congrats!!! Should be a great time. What too bring kids? Depends how easily entertained they are. Might be fun for them too just watch all the people and colors in the parking lot, maybe check out the radio maragritaville area, and take part in the (Non-Alcoholic) parrothead games.rvulcan500 wrote:Its official! We are finally going to a buffett concert! My wife, mayself, and my 2 kids are going August 10th. A dream come true. Quick questionn. Any suggestions on what we should bring for the kids, age 7 and 9 to make this as fun for them as it will be for us?

Re: We're really going!
We are also bringing our little keet! Counting the days till hubby is home and then the countdown begins for the GW party. Our three year old is a fan in her own right and can't wait to celebrate. Daddy has been overseas for 9 of the last 12 months so having him home is reason enough for a celebration add in a JB concert and life couldn't be better!!! Have a great time!rvulcan500 wrote:Its official! We are finally going to a buffett concert! My wife, mayself, and my 2 kids are going August 10th. A dream come true. Quick questionn. Hey Fanvan- looks like we will be on the same timetable, and will definitely stop by! Since we are slackers who just last week made reservations there, we are staying in what they called the "overflow" area, which I'm guessing and hoping is going to be full of pholks like us, and will be a good place to party! Now, I need to go and start packing...
I've got a caribbean soul I can barely control and some Texas hidden here in my heart...
GW 9/2/00 and 8/12/06!

I just spoke to the folks over at Canoe River Campground and they still have room if anyone else needs a place for the RV. They also have no problem with us showing up at midnight after the show and checking in the next morning.
I'm back to livin' Floridays
Blue skies and ultra-violet rays
Lookin' for better days, lookin' for better days
