I'm pretty sure that's been the lineup for the last several years now.CrznDnUS1 wrote: The line up so far is:

In regards to Dave Matthews, I'm not a huge fan of his music but like the other particpants he's concerned about the plight of the American farmer and is extremely active in those causes. That's enough to warrant his inclusion right there. To me, it's more about bringing attention to the situation than the actual performers themselves whether I'm a fan of theirs or not.

that's crazy. I went to Farm Aid in 2003 and they were only $40 or $50. GEEZ. I know it's for a good cause and it is worth the money, but the price has skyrocketed! YIKES.
It was a fantastic time in Columbus though!
Re: Farm Aid 2006
Considering the amount of artists you'll see for $100, it's a bargain. If you buy tix for the ACL Fest when they first go on sale they're around $35. I'd much rather pay that than $146 to see one artist.MelliJellyBean wrote:are you serious????!! lawn seats are $100???CrznDnUS1 wrote:I haven't seen any threads on this yet, so here it goes. Re: Farm Aid 2006
First time I saw Farm Aid back in was it 85 maybe -- Think it was in like Southern Illinois too... I think we paid like 20 or 25 for tickets. Back in 97 I think I paid 50 dollars for a 3rd row seat.MelliJellyBean wrote:are you serious????!! lawn seats are $100???CrznDnUS1 wrote:I haven't seen any threads on this yet, so here it goes.
