I have to say.....that was the best Buffett show I've been to! I really enjoyed Irvine earlier this year but Santa Barbara topped that show easily. The additions of David Crosby and Jack Johnson were AWESOME! I also loved the new songs as well as Dixie Chicken. I thought that added a little spin on things. I still don't understand the Santa Barbara crowd so much as I did see a bunch of people sitting down.....ummmmm hello? Do you realize you are at a Buffett show? The intimacy of the Bowl is always a treat.

The pre-party was phantastic! We had a great turnout and, once again, ended up having to close the doors and monitor the amount of people let in. Unkle Monkey kept us all dancing while the boat drinks were flowing from the bar. Parrotheads were, once again, generous in helping the raffle and the silent auction be a success! We all piled on the bus going to and coming from the concert (NOTE.....it's not a good idea to drink a whole lot and try to stand riding the bus while you really have to go to the bathroom).

All in all, yesterday was one of the best times I've had at a Buffett concert....even without the tailgating! Hopefully, Jimmy will be back again next year so we can do it all over again!!!!
I am sooooo happy to say that I WILL BE AT MOTM 2010!!!! 5 years in a row!!!!
