Anybody know if Jake is on the tour this summer?

I thought I read somewhere that he would be...although after looking at his web site, it appears he's a pretty busy guy. Somewhere there was an article about him and Jimmy and how they got together, and I thought he said he'd be joining Jimmy for a couple years on tour. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

I saw Jake earlier this week in Charlotte - it was an awesome show! He said he was headed for Anguilla but I think over the summer he will only be playing a few "selected" shows.

of course - jake is playing in flagstaff the one summer i am not going to be there!

saw him earlier in the month in Sunrise at the Langerado Musicfest. Amazing musician.

I was at the Charlotte show too - and it WAS amazing. He is very personable and tells stories as he introduces the songs. If any of you have the chance to see him - GO!!! Here in Charlotte the tickets were only $10...a great value in these days of high ticket prices.

He was recently in Charlotte, NC at The Neighborhood Theatre this past tuesday. A Great place to see a artist. Mac McAnally was there a few years ago too.

I have no idea, but the amphitheater he's playing at here is small potatoes....really, it's just a local county arts deal with not a ton of revenue....it would be worth looking in to!

We have an outdoor summer music series here, I'm forwarding his name along to those folks. Maybe we can lure him to Vermont once it gets warm!
