I found this forum because i typed in cowboy in the jungle in the google search. I was curious cause i liked the song so much but never really met too many people who knew of the song. Then i found this forum with a bunch of people who like it. Margaritiaville is to Jimmy Buffett, as Stairway to Heaven is to Led Zepplin, a good song but way too overplayed to be able to vote for it here. CITJ all the way, it was a 12th seed, commmon!

National Athem or not, Cowboy In The Jungle is a far better song.
Margaritaville, while easily his most famous tune by a mile, is the same number of miles from being his best song.
Just my opinion.
