Nope, I only make it for those I love!! It is a cappucino, just like in Italy, then I put two cinnamon red hots on top of perfectly crafted foam so that it looks like my leg did.

You don't wanna know. But I'll tell it anyway.
January 18, 1992. Friends with stricken faces came to our door and told us our daughter had been in a car-train accident. The ride to the emergency room was truly hell. She didn't make it. Now I know what hell is and I don't want to go there. Thank goodness I made it out the other side.

Very easy answer for me. just not easy to deal with.
July 28th 2006 2:25 am at a Memphsis TN Hospital. My 19 yr old son lying on a bed receiving CPR and the Dr. looking at me and saying "I'm sorry, there nothing more we can do." Five min later I watched the monitor numbers for BP and heart beat fall to 0. I still hear those words in my sleep to this day.

wow guys, so many things that have happened to you all. I pray that nobody has to go through anything like that in their lives. I've been extremely lucky in my life so far.
My scariest moment came when I was 11. I was swimming with my dad and sister at Trout Pond in WV. It's a beach entry pond and sometimes the sand shifts. My dad stepped back and the sand had shifted and he could not touch. He started bobbing up and down in an extreme panic, and reaching out for us. There are no lifeguards. Somehow, in this scariest moment, as a 11 yr old, I remained calm, but terrified. I didn't let my dad near me, but swam around and behind him and gave him the biggest push forward that a little girl could. Luckily for all us, I pushed him to where he could touch again. Thus, I saved my dad from drowning.

Seeing my best friend get hit by a car, flipping him up into the air and busting his head on the windshield. He still made it to band practice that day. We had a good excuse for being late.

................when Buffett tickets went over $100??
Seriously, I've had a lot of terrifying moments......the ones that stick out probably are more haunting than terrifying. Sometimes I wish you could delete files in your brain.

The closest I come to terrifying is getting the call that my dad was in the hospital, and then getting told that there was nothing they could do, but that was more of a feeling of hopelessness that terror.
And after reading these stories, I'm never going to refer to an amusement park ride or a scary movie as terrifying. Those things ain't got sh*t on what some of y'all have been through.

There's also the time (also in the Navy) when the ships speaker system came on and two word were spoken. Every officer on the ship dropped what ever he was doing and ran to the ward room.
Turned out that the two words were a predetermined code that required the ship to report it's readiness to go to war. As it happens this was only a drill but it was the first time I ever really considered how close we were to an all out Nuclear War.

so for in my life there has been only one moment where I felt no control...
exactly one week before Christmas last year while on my way to take care of some stuff for my folks while traveling sb on i25 at FEWAFB came upon a patch of black ice hidden by a ground blizzard on the south side of an overpass and commenced to feel the rear of the car advance towards the front and ended up flipping and then rolling at least twice
two reasons why in my mind I was not to be physically harmed was that no other vehicles were around/involved when control was lost (however there were at least 3 other crashes at the same patch of interstate near/at the same time) and I ended up on the wheels with no visible passenger compartment damage.
The one moment that I don't wish to repeat is having to call the hotel that my folks were going to be staying at to leave a message to call home and then having to wait for my mom to call and tell her that my grandmother (her mom) just had a heart attack. My folks had just been with her the day before and (before they had a cell phone) they told me where they were going to be staying that night. After my aunt called me I called the hotel and left them a message to call home. As soon as they checked in and got the message they called and I told them. Two days later when they got home we got the call that she had died at which point we (my brother, sister, me and folks) all got back into the van and commenced to drive back to WI.
