No Jim again this year... still Mark Torlina!
From the press release...
Joining Mayer on tour are a group of eclectic musicians whose repertoires span several genres of music and entertainment including Sheryl Crow, Barbara Mandrell, and Chris Ledoux. Percussionist Scott Bryan, Native American flutist Mark Holland, bassist Marc Torlina violinist Maggie Estes, and pianist Chris Walters are the well seasoned musicians that comprise the Peter Mayer Group.
You’re still grinning, we’re still winning, nothing left to say
I’m still gliding as I go flying down this endless wave

Thanks Tiki, I think they are all great musicians.....i just miss Jim and Besse too.
Just got home a little while ago from the Somerville show. All I can say is WOW!..just a beautiful evening. Anyone going will absolutely enjoy this performance.
Was at Lancaster last night. Oh what a show. The venue wasn't as good as Lansdale last year, but Peter, his band, the childrens choir and the bell ringers more than made up for it. I can't wait until next year.

I did see Bfan53 there
It was fabulous and it is helping me get into the holiday spirit a bit

My wife an I were the ones that were bobbing our heads and jamming when he played Go Tell it on the Mountain. We also high-fived when he played Ring out the Bells.

I'll post a few pics a little later.
So sorry I missed you, Mrs. Rumdrinks and I were sitting up front and while I was looking around the church for any familiar faces, I guess I wasn't looking hard enough.
Thoroughly enjoyed the show as always and made it a point to tell PM that after the show. We waited in the fairly short line to talk to Peter and the band after the show and as in past years, we are just so impressed at how easy it is to just talk to him.

Hey jeanie,
Bfan53 now known as Bfan53again (I had a problem getting "active" and found it easier just to change my BN name) here.....
So nice to see you, Doc, and the other BNers in Lancaster. What a great show and meeting Peter and the band members afterwards was a real treat (and long overdue for my wife & I).
Take care, keep in touch, & have a wonderful Holiday Season!!!!!!
P. S. Eventually I'll figure out how to insert a picture again, too......
On most days I say: "Wrinkles only go where the smiles have been...."
Sometimes I can only say: "There is no dumbass vaccine......"
If something or someone gets you down, just remember: "In a hundred years it all won’t matter.........."
